Ahh, bonjour mes amis! Back from a longue flight, a little.. as ze Sirians call it debriefing is in order! Un petit addition de mes exploits, non? I encountered a certain navy pilot by the name of.. or callsign it would seem xXSoriatisXx. He calls himself sergeant, it would seem, and he was blissfully unaware of our existance. I am sure this fellow could be an interesting contact for ze future oui? I helped the poor fellow stop a sirian by the name of armor.storage who 'ates la Gaulle! Incroyable!
Now, monsieur Soriatis had more to ask; he needed some Arquebus guns from les Brigands. I was of course happy to be le middle man, doing precisely what La Famille exists for: facilitating free trade.
Also, I shipped le tobacco too Marseille, and.. brought la Noxe from there to our exiled amis in Rousillion! That will make them happy for a few weeks, non?
Completed two rounds of Artifacts from Thionville to Epernon.
The trips were event free.

Made a long haul to Perpignan Freeport with a full hold of Night.
We returned with BM munitions to Evron to keep a Council contact on my good side.
For the short third leg we delivered chaud software to Argenton.
I am hoping this will bring favor from the dealer on the next shipment of Darkness.

Our Maquis friends at Lapalisse were happy to see munitions.
The 'night' arrived safely to the Freeport.
We didn't have any hostile contacts throughout the trip however, we did experience significant shield drop in Languedoc.
The shields dropped 30% twice as we traversed the area between Quillan and Montpellier.
We can only conclude there must have been hidden mines left over from past confrontations.
Beware when routing through this area.

We took a risk this week and ventured into Rheinland with our finest Pinot noir.
We found a base in the Stuttgart system that received our docking request. The wine brought a nice profit.
The bartender informed us that Tobacco pays well at a base near a system that is known to sell high grade software.
Just the break we were looking for in this maiden voyage.
We mounted the lanes up through Berlin and Hamburg and paused for fuel at a Freeport in the Bering system.
The local Zoners were helpful and explained the confrontation between Liberty and Rheinland.
As we know, where a war front resides the profit potential is ripe.
The travel through Liberty was smooth, only a few curious authorities and they were even tempered.
After a long cruise through two systems we arrived at the coordinates supplied by the Rheinland bartender.
Our scanners did not locate a base or anything over the size of a baquette. The nebula was interfering with our effective range.
Just as we ignited our engines a disruptor dropped us dead in space and three ships attacked our port side.
Their IFF flashed Hackers and they were out for blood.
We narrowly escaped the attacking fighters with our hull severely damaged including our cargo pods.
Our Tobacco was lost.
After a short sprint on the engines our scanners found navigation buoys, these in turn pointed to a station owned by an engineering company.
The personnel were friendly and assisted in our ship repairs. The company is Deep Space Engineering (DSE).
We regrouped and confirmed the Freeport existed in Yukon. Thanks to the DSE station officer.
Reminder: If I ever catch that Rheinland bartender in a dark hall'¦. my poignard will be ready.
The trip to Freeport 14 was uneventful and we found excellent accommodations for the overnight stay.
The Zoners offered their usual curtsies however the scientists wouldn't talk to us about the large reactor jutting from the station.
One couldn't help noticing the scientific population and activity throughout the halls, even a ship jockey like myself connected the dots.
There may be a trade angle here if only I knew the right person.
The next day we hightailed to Gallia with the software and the hold was well received in the Provence system.
From there we dipped back to Roussillon with a load of 'night'. Perpignan desperately desires larger quantities.
I am concerned they won't sell the BM munitions if we don't deliver Nox, based on the commodity manager's comments.
Maybe a fine bottle of cabernet sauvignon will keep him settled.
We lit up Mangouste's engines and dumped the munitions at Eplessier Depot. The Maquis agent was delighted to say the least.
Those Maquis women scare me'¦ I hope I never disappoint their illusions of grandeur.
Mangouste is moored at Argenton after unloading a few pods of light arms.
I report to you today a successful extraction from Planet Marne. La familles men moved swiftly, picking me up off of Planet Marne and bringing me the Bourbon Base. I am truly grateful.
After arriving on Bourbon Base I soon discovered I had the title of "Etranger", so I began a new goal to become more then just an outsider to the familly. My goal started out by making enough money to buy a small freighter, nothing too fancy. Upon purchasing my freighter i visited La Famille on Epernon Base in Orleanais and asked around for some high profit smuggling runs.
One suggested to smuggle goods into Sirius, another suggested but a small Gallic run, I started with the small run, after getting enough money to outfit my ship I began my journey to Sirius, my goal was to fly from Epernon to Stuttgart and back as quickly as possible with no interruptions.
During my travels to Stuttgart I met up with a Molly who chased me right through the Omega-3 system, his vessels tech was too low to keep up with me, thank god cause he would have vaporized me. Soon after running away from the Molly I reached Stuttgart.
Upon landing on Planet Stuttgart I had asked myself what I was going to bring back... Then it came to me! La Famille told me my next objective would be Kusari then return to Gallic. I set off to Kusari with a load of Tabaco for Planet New Tokyo. The Sirius systems were calm, too calm, the only resistance in which I met was that nasty Molly which was only a good sign that i would not meet anyone else on my return.
Upon returning to Epernon La Famille reminded me that I must fill out the log reports.
