Well.. in the last few weeks I noticed that many people (mainly newer ones) like to withdraw their bids, even if they got the higest bid, somethimes even when the auction is already closed and they basicly bought it.
Currently there is nothing what prevents such fools to trollbid and then not pay etc.
there should be a little forumrule against that. Something what stop people bidding on stuff they dont RLLY want. Something along the lines.
"Placing a bid on a ship in the Ship Sales sub-forum bounds you to the auction. Withdrawing a bid when its the highest at the moment is not allowed and will result in a Sanction when reported."
-or something along this lines.
I know that sometimes it is like "uh i want this ship buy maybe i get a better one, ah dang it i just bid, dont wanna loose the good offer"
Becouse, you see if you are searching one ship all the time and found it ofcourse you will bid your price. But maybe later you see another and maybe much better offer for ship and change your mind,i think thats normal.
There can be reasons why sometimes you do not buy. Not eager to get sanctioned.
this would be?
yeah - having bid on another ship/or you did because you wanted to troll.
bids in auctions are not meant to be withdraw-able, so you shouldt bid if you dont have the funds/can maybe find another/better offer
edit:
i see - the people here got a wrong picture of what a "Auction" is.
if you have the chance to get a better offer you simply shoudnt bid.
because wherever you take part in a AUCTION - you would get in real trouble if you do not pay if you had the higest bid.
you want to fight trolls with sanctions...lost fight sorry and there 83609859673465 reasons that someone who was actualy winning in aution decided to acutaly not buy the ship and I don't see why would ANYONE troll in there...there are so many better places to toll then market...new rules won't do anything and we don't need more rules.

No you dont. As a lawyer, I stand firm on knowing that for my country.
Argument invalid.
When highest bidder does not pay, 2nd highest is in row to buy the ship. You dont like the cash you getting, dont sell the ship.
