I keep randomly getting a hyper link transfer flood error and 07E BSoD when doing almost anything on my comp. Now, i'm told this is a memory issue, but i ran memchecker chkdsk and sfc /scannow and none of them resulted in finding any errors. Anyone know whats wrong?
I wouldn't rule that out. If each stick of RAM gives you the same error as before, see about borrowing someone elses RAM (If its DDR3 then you can probably find some anywhere), if it /still/ has that problem, then you probably are looking at a motherboard issue. While your at it, do the above RAM swapping on his computer, see if it crashes the same way yours does.
Another thing you could try is removing the CMOS battery and wiping bios. Alternatively you could short out the CMOS chip with a jumper. (Assuming you have the manual). Also, maybe re-flashing the motherboards BIOS ROM would be a good idea, if you feel comfortable with deleting the lowest level of code avaliable on a motherboard and re-writing it with manufacturers updates. If you need some help with that, I might be able to pull the bios install info. (I would need a computer model number/Motherboard model [if custom built PC])
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
