Nah bankers don't wear mcdonalds outfits but they sure do eat there, I won't be earning minimum wage actually far above that but my taxes will be used to help others on benefits!

However I see your keen to know more so let me fill you in on what, I'll be doing: I this past month have gone for two interviews at a UK bank I met the manager then his boss at the second interview who is CFO of the bank.
My role will be to to develop Credit Risk models for the banks financial products department. The role requires someone with a high level of numerate intelligence and able to draft on numerical skills quickly to expand financial models.
Since I have a degree in maths I was ideally suited to the role. I got initial feedback yesterday that my starting pay will be around £30,000.
You'll probably be okay with simply a nice suit jacket, dress slacks, dress shirt and tie. I don't know if they have them on your side of the pond, but I do a lot of shopping at Jos. A Banks, since I have to 'knot up' basically every day.
