Put -dx at the end of your FL's desktop shortcut target, that should fix the resolution problem by locking your FL resolution to the same as your desktop resolution.
I've reinstalled multiple times.
One more point, i had the game earlier but unistalled it, maybe
some old game folders interrupt the thing but i removed any
old freelancer folder i could find. In program files and in appdata.
trying to find another FL iso to dl but torrent is not working with this
network.
edit:
Some more observations:
Doesn't matter if i run version 1.0 or 4.84
* Some video clips have sounds, some don't.
* I chose to start within 100m credits when activated the mod,
but in the game i had still 500.
* After launching from Manhattan for the first time, the video scene
lagged badly and before it ended, the game crashes to desktop.
So im believing the setup file is not perfect and that's
where the problem start. Funny thing is that the game installs normally
with no issues.
Forget about my previous posts.
Now that i got the resolution thing to work nicely.
My only problem is now the sound.
I deleted the audio files in System32 and in regedit like it should be
and after that i ran WMFDIST application which should reinstall
the corredt audio codecs for the game but when i double click
the WMFDIST, nothing happens.
No idea why nothing happens but maybe is there another way
to install the codecs.
I know there are 79 times smarter guys here than me, so please.
