I think you misunderstood.
We are not lining up to do your job for you.
We are offering cooperation.
We assume based on diplomatic analysis that the Maquis have little reason to target the Guild and that instead your organisation could be interested in a cooperation. The Council as our common friend and a history of hardship and secretive resistance could act as a link. This however is entirely dependent on your choice.
If you look for cooperation, the Frumentarii could assist with our links and our intel networks in Sirius that could complement your knowledge of Gallia and its inner workings.
If you are looking for servants to do your leg-work, you will have to look somewhere else. The Frumentarii are not available for that.

There opened up another assignment that you'll use to redeem yourself from the denial we were met with by you to our previous request. • Deuterium: 23750 units
Same destination as before. Toulouse, main hangar, dock seven, drop-off point four.
Sarah O'Riley
I'll remember your offer should we ever need outside information enhancing our own intel. Until then, and because you seem as unreliable as the initial Miners Guild when it comes to action taken, you may use the situation to at least show your use and take the package to a dead-box location in open space. Don't fail me again.

With delivery missions, the Guild doesn't have any problems. We would though in fact like to know what the Deuterium will be used for, and whether this use will also be in the Guild's interest. Otherwise, there is no reason why we wouldn't want to accept this contract.
Adding to this, I would like to note the route itself is quite dangerous, as our convoys will have to cross the Bretonian-Gallic Border, and the profit for selling Deuterium on Toulouse is also low. Hence, for this mission the Guild demands an extra payment from the Maquis, something between 50 to 75 Million Sirius Credits. Also, please be aware the amount of money I suggested is already lowered to a very friendly level.

Let me tell you that you are in dire need of intel on Sirius, as your every communication shows.
You are suffering from the same inability to communicate in a socially acceptable way that would give you good results in negotiations, same as the GRN did in the initial stages of the invasion. You are making a lot more enemies in Sirius than you should. Use the words: "please", "thank you" and reduce the number of insults and threats. Take it as a free first lesson.
I'll add a piece of advice to every message, as an investment into successful future cooperation.
Once the necessary operational data has been disclosed, and the mission parameters are clear, the Frumentarii will dispatch an agent to retrieve and relocate the package. Rely the intel on a secure channel - as defined in the attachement - or define a place to meet our asset personally. The GRN's spy networks are too powerful to take risks.

Your payment comprises of 115.000.000c and the Maquis not cracking your skull open against the nearest wall. Get to it.
Sarah O'Riley
You explain the points the Maquis brought up in your public announcement. Other than that, expect to hear from me once the people carrying out what you're unable to do stated a date for this operation to commence.

The Frumentarii are supporting the fight against Gallia and we are actively organising and coordinating the resistance efforts against Gallia and we have made substantial progress - as you can see in the positive Tau 44 development. In this fight the Frumentarii have taken on a coordination role and we have managed to bring together a diverse coalition of unlikely allies to fight the Gallic enemy. We managed to unite them in an undisclosed location close to the front lines and this alliance has managed to field forces with great success against our common enemy.
However, due to your sometimes almost thuggish behaviour and crude use of language, as well as your unprovoked hostility against those who have done so much for you and your allies, the Frumentarii have been hesitant and have decided not to include you in the alliance's planning - yet.
I am sure you can understand this decision based on how well our initial communication is going. You still have a long way to go before you can be considered reliable and trustworthy enough to be part of any coordinated operation that requires diplomatic skill and the ability to accept what is not your own opinion.
If you want to play a more relevant part than now, it's entirely up to you to move yourself to a position of relevance in the bigger struggle against Gallia's occupation. Alone, you will fail like every other attempt has. Only together, in unity, with combined effort, coordination and forces we have a chance to win.

My will to listen to you nears its end. You're not in an argument, as much as you'd like having it that way. By now I start to believe there's no loss in you Sirian's getting removed by the Crown. The Maquis fought the Monarchy before and will continue so. With or without you. Provide a clear answer to the following:
(02-21-2017, 11:00 PM)Laroux Wrote: At least until you managed to win back the lands you lost prior. I understand it the way that you'll consider working closer with the Crown should you by some miracle manage to retake the territories you lost and see yourself in a position to negotiate a truce on terms beneficial to your organization. Whilst you tell me you'll stand by the side of those fighting the Monarchy, with the same breath you mention the possibility you keep yourself open to engage in ambiguous deals with them once your conditions are met. The Maquis will remember.
This is a serious accusation and your answer will determine how you're treated from that point on. Choose your words with caution.

After a long thought process, I've finally come to a conclusion what to do with your contract. It seems you and the Maquis cell you represent aren't fully understanding the ideals of the Independent Miners Guild, as we especially encourage respect between employer and employee. This is something we think is much more important than just how much money we make.
In your case, there doesn't seem to be any respect at all. You are threatening to crack my skull open against the nearest wall, which is something I have to discourage. We are always looking for new contracts, but not with people who are acting so hostile against us without any apparent reason.
If you change your attitude towards us anytime soon though, feel free to contact us again, and the Guild will think about it again.

Once you are ready to play a meaningful role, feel free to contact us again.
As long as you look for a carpet to walk over, don't bother to contact us again.
The Guild has withstood the Outcast menace for decades, we have survived the GRN's onslaught, we will deal with a few misguided Maquis splinter cell members who are unable to remember what we did for them when they needed help. It is all up to you, but make no mistake: We are ready to react to any hostile action in kind.
History has shown a path that ultra-aggressive groups like yours take: Decline. Defeat. And eventually: Insignificance and a fall into oblivion.
If you feel at any time that you need an ally, call, because I am sure you will find yourself alone very very soon with an attitude like yours. However, you will have to show a different behaviour to get respect that might pave the way for cooperation and assistance that you will need more in the future than the IMG.
