Hello, Admiral.
I've known for some time now that the Fifth Fleet has been conducting an investigation of integrity on one of the Third Fleet's cruisers, the L.N.S. Shamrock Bay. Admiral Anderson, before his departure, informed me that the investigation was going rather well, and was hopefully nearing completion.
While I'm more than aware of how these sorts of inspections go, I'm a little curious as to why the ship itself hasn't been returned to the Third, since from what I've heard it has nearly everything to do with Commander Hemlock. There might be details I'm missing, and if there are then I'd ask you provide them as it would give a little understanding as to why the ship isn't back to active duty, but it's a little detrimental to my command for one of our more usable vessels is under guard by the commanding force on Juneau.
This is your command on Juneau, John, so I'll let your people do their job, but I'd rather the Bay not stay locked out there while we've got a war going on.
See you out there, John. Good luck.
Regards,
Admiral Mark Ferguson, Liberty Navy Third Fleet Commanding.
