1. Care to explain how you guys got an Asco Torpedo given our hostilities? I know for a fact that you had to buy em and that they're sold on Brigand bases. But wait... You're hostile to the Brigands... Did it just appear on your Gunboat? Has to make you wonder. Oh and here are a few files to support my claim. Thanks Doj.
I'd say we got it from an independent Brigand player, because as I already explained a few times, you may be the major force within the Brigands, but you are not ALL of them and there is not much you can do if another Brigand that does not belong to your group decides to support us.
(Yes, even if said Brigand didnt do that because there are sadly not too many Brigand players around and we docked at your base to buy it, we have a green Cell with your tech, the explanation from above, that you are not ALL Brigands still works. You Legionaires might control the bases, but there is little you can do if another Brigand decided to do something you dont want to happen.)
Its pretty much the same with us, we are not all of the Corse, so even if you shoot us, other groups might decide to support you.
Quote:1. Regardless of the tech chart. Such is an oorp action due to hostilities. It would be as like a Reaver were to say in front of a few corsiars. "Sorry..One of my Tizzies got shot off, Mind if I get another one? Of course you don't"
We are not hostile to all Brigands, we are hostile to you. Go and try to FR5 us please, if you really think that it makes any sense.
' Wrote:2. You guys really want to be official? Do groups wanting to be official pull a stunt like going up to a pair of people trying to have a decent conversation, and just point blank one of them while they're not moving and are trying to respond back? I haven't seen it. Might want to pick up on the seriousness bit here and stop pulling such.
Other than that. Have a nice day.
I dont know what exactly happened there, but yeah as CC said, if you see a supposed hostile coming towards you expect him to play his role and shoot you?

Anyone in the +LE+ who does is to expect a das boot from me.
Das Boot is a cool movie, how is that a punishment?:P
Let's make it clear in first sentence - I am not here to rage or whatever. I am confused and that's why I ask...to be honest I am confused with all galic factions but to the point.
Here is the thing:
Quote:Territory
Zone of Influence
Gallic Core worlds
Gallic Border Worlds
So your main operations should be within Gallia against the Royalists.
BUT:
Quote:Zone of Interest
Omicrons
Taus
Bretonia
Kusari
So you come to Bretonia - Ok and here is my question.
What is the reason you come there?
Quote:This doesn't mean that the LaBrise does not cooperate with the police forces: they're known to hunt down potential political dissidents for them once in a while, while given some freedom for their activities in exchange.
I am a little confused are you just money hunger ex-policemen and other guys who just get money to get rich - BASIC PIRATE RP - or it's something more?
What exacly brings you to Sirius and Bretonia - is it just profit? shouldn't you get friendly with new enemies of the Royalists ? or you don't really care about the politics and you are basicly Gallic pirates who sometimes get involved with the war and help council and other Gallic parties fighting with GRN.
And Yes I ve read all the info about you - I am still confused.
NOTE THAT I AM NOT SPEAKING ABOUT ANY ENCOUNTER SO PLEASE DO NOT PLACE IT HERE TO AVOID TRIALS AND FLAMES. LET'S SPEAK IN GENERAL.
I'll be blunt. The BAF started hostilities towards us, so you can expect hostilities in return towards all lawful Bretonians.
The reason of our presence in Bretonia is about stretching out our businesses. There's more money to be made if services can be lend in more places, along with both piracy and smuggling zones being further away. In the end, it's what its about for the Corse, money, and we chose to have some influence in the lawful Gallic side when it comes to how we make that money.
Quote:Unfriendly
Gallic Royal Navy
Gallic Corporations
well... because of that - AGAINST...I can't imagine you work with GRN for example...
OK
So you shoot bretonians cause BAF started hostile actions against you - I don't care why - not really strong reason IMO but you can go that way of course by doing it you are aware that you will most likely end in the Corsairs,Gaians etc side and will close your semilawful side of bussines in Bretonia. Also since your group more or less likes police forces
Quote:Allied
Gallic Brigands
Unione Corse
Gallic Royal Police
Maquis
why do you put all Bretonians in one bag? since you are looking for somekind of bussines oportunities IMHO it's better to have somekind free hand around the system you are doing said bussines and by atacking everyone lawful you are just going straight for the Terrorist/pirate name. Also - I M NOT SURE - I believe you guys end your ZOI around TAUS and Dublin
Code:
Territory
Zone of Influence
Gallic Core worlds
Gallic Border Worlds
so I asume that according to the rules - you shouldn't really wonder around for example New London and shoot people - I may be wrong about that since with the new mod ZOI might have changed.
So yeah since as I see it, according to what I have read about La Brise info here and UC and on WIKI(I know it's outdated) your organisation more or less works as a mafia( even your ranks seem to fit the role of Italian Mafia or the movie "Godfather") not terrorists, so you try to stay semilawful(like said mafia should) in order to operate and do bussines IN ORDER to get rich - pirating isn't exacly very MAFIA...and that possibly depends on point of view right?:)

Thing is, they've no weight or pull in Bretonia that would afford them the semi-lawful status. In Gallia, they can get away with the occasional piracy or silencing of individuals who've got slightly too outspoken, because they provide useful services elsewhere and have spent centuries insinuating themselves into the system.
In Bretonia, they're fresh arrivals. Fresh arrivals who are now renown for piracy. A lot like the Hogsha when they come to Bretonia, really. All I've ever heard of from the LeBrise is piracy in Bretonia. Bretonia is consequently going to treat them as pirates. They're not semi-lawful in Bretonia.
I'm not entirely representative of BAF, but a ranking member.
Feel free to come to Bretonia, feel free to pirate, feel free to shoot anyone you deem hostile.
Welcome, have fun, don't complain and all is well.
Naturally you are not semi lawful if you do pirate, junkers obviously don't pirate in house space so they can be considered semi lawful. Hogosha in Kusari is a completely different case, they're uh, 'special' because of convoluted Kusari diplomacy.
