ok i know its cheating to use 2 of your char its cheating because
1. its lets you power trade
2. takes server space that others could be using
3. other things i cant think of
right now i make my brother help me move things like codenames
but its alittle bit of a pain
is it against the rules for just me to move codenames?
its that ok, or should i conti to use my brother?
admin feed back would be nice
p.s. for admins, this is my warning that brother get on my accounts so pls dont sanction me
Im back baby! may even start CODEYs again but will have to see how Bases affect that who know maybe i will save for a base
IMO, having another person help you is fine - it would be the same as a buddy from your faction doing it, just half way around the world instead of in the same building.
Edit: Also, if it is only for the purpose of equipment/guns transfer, that's usually not a problem - just don't do it during server peak time.
It's allowable for members of your family to be playing freelancer at the same time. It is not allowable to be using multiple computers by yourself to powertrade.
One person can use a couple of instances of Freelancer to change around equipment as long as it's not peak hours on the server.
I think that using 2 computers by yourself JUST to transfer equipment is allowed but it is not allowed to do anything else. If there are 2 people playing Freelancer from the same house, they can do whatever each one could individually. You should wait for an admin to answer if you want to be 100% safe though.
it does say in the rule itself that transferring equipment is allowed, but like the others in this thread point out (and i have asked this myself) cargo (commodities) is not included in equipment. as for your brother being on another pc while you are, again i presume this is fine as its not you alone. 2 pc's 2 users = ok, 2 pc's 1 user = sanction :O
And I'll throw in some original comments in this thread, it's easy to tell when it's just one person. When two traders are going down a lane and one is in formation with the other and doesn't say a word while the first transport does all the moving and talking, that's a sign that they might be multi-boxing and grounds for sanction if the admins can trace both to the same IP. If you're like two fighters brawling in a fight (or two separate fights) with the same IP, people won't notice and it will be kind of obvious if an admin does check that you're two different people (or have mad skills).
