Alright, so I was browsing around my Freelancer folder, looking in the Audio section, when I noticed that the main audio folder has a huge dump of files with a '.UTF' extension. Now, I have never come across this extension before, and after trying a few default programs I use to open audio files, I figured out I didn't have a program that could open them. I tried searching the web, which was pretty much useless, and as so far havn't found a program that can open this type of file. I am assuming that they are some sort of audio file, possibly voiceovers for a few of the cutscenes in the Vanilla campaign, or possibly a directory for calling up other audio files during the campaign. However, I truely have no idea what these are, and would appriciate some help in identifying them.
They're sort of like packages of short audio clips, somewhat like a zip file, but not exactly.
Most of them contain the audio clips used for the radio chatter you hear from NPCs.
I do know Winamp treats them like a playlist, and so allows you to listen to them, but not sure what other programs do so too.

Ahh, that editor Tunicle linked has a bit of an easier to use UI than the other one. You wouldn't happen to know if there are any tutorials about how to convert and edit UTF files using that software?
