Or you can use the said program, it is useful account managing tool and it works like charm, you just need to add the link to your destination folder where you installed the game. The program automatically detects the account in use so you just need to safe it if you have one account, if not you can add more in.adf and .xml format: http://discoverygc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=43740
I still cannot get why you cannot get the basics it is rather simple with so many guides around- all nicely done with step by step instructions and even with included screens.
If you are PC illiterate ask someone to do it for you it should not take more then 5 min.

yeah you probably dont get why i dont 'get the basics' because these methods and programs are new to me, as for Discovery launch pad, it didnt detect anything, nor could i find the files to import as they said on that link, sure it should all take what less then 5 mins, if you know what you are doing in the first place... -.-
i dont use a shortcut to run freelancer so that "-dx" thing isnt something i would know of, nor do i go about adding command line's to games... so yeah, not my area of knowledge...
EDIT: so i have just tryed that shortcut edit thing and it appears to *have* worked, so far but im not sure if it will continue to like the last one when it first happend, fail to keep up, just have to see if the problem returns as time pass's my guess probably 2-3 days, though if it doesnt return, thanks for the help even if i dont understand half of it...

Ok New Problem... *facepalms* Why me....
anyhow, yeah it works the occasional time the servers dont even show, but re-opening just fix's that, BUT now... regardless if there are servers shown in the list, when i click "menu" to go back, Discovery Crash's, it does the same thing when i try to Join the Server, it just loads and eventually says "cant connect to server, try checking your connection or the serer could be down during the time you attempted to connect" message, yeah common message i know, but when i click ok on that message Discovery Crash's...
if im right, anything that involves clicking a button from the Multiplayer Server list "page" cause's it to crash, got a work around or a idea to fix?
Tryed Re-installing and still does it, Normal Exe and the Shortcut with [\Freelancer.exe" -s82.113.48.5:2302]
