I've already made a nice little introductory thread on the forum and am offering my services as a system editor if they're needed.
P.S. Jammi, if you can add me to that Community Chat that'd be great. I think you already have my Skype.
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Yup, got you on Skype. I'll add you to the chat as soon as I have Skype access, which'll be monday at the latest. Might be an idea to contact one of the others in the meantime. Once you're in the chat, you'll get all the sneak peeks and previews chat members are privy to. :P

Hi everyone. We've been sort of tardy with updates, but things have been getting done. I suppose as the PR man, the blame for that rests on my shoulders. Well then, on to the pictures.
Here are three ingame shots of our orbital trade stations. These will be playing an important role in the economy if you're in a transport class ship. I'll leave it at that.
And here are our billboards. They'll be all over the place - lining certain stretches of transport infrastructure, littering junctions between them, orbiting stations and bases. They'll be advertising everything from ingame NPC factions, to the Pleiades equivalent of Viagra (but not in Medicea, of course).
Now then, the billboards themselves are holograms. You can fly through the image, and see objects behind it through the advert. We're all pleased with the result, and hope you like them too.
Sorry about the odd screenshot size, and slight image distortion. Photobucket has a habit of resizing my screenshots. I'm about to quit using it altogether.
I hope that you'll accept some friendly criticism. From what I see, the textures on your Admin Villa are a bit over-cropped to fill in a part of the model, a clear example of which are the windows under what appears to be a docking bay. What I suggest is that you either make a more complex texture file, with some light effects on it (such as shadows, or some light stroboscopic lightning), or you make the model more detailed.
From I can say, for a first view. The station model has between 1.400p and 4.500p. What I suggest aswell is that you rotate the solar panes on a 35° G axis from the center of the station. That's everything that I had in mind for now.

Part of my goal for the next internal packaging up of the mod is to redo a couple textures here and there to add to the realism. Alas, it's still the Freelancer engine, so I'm limited as to how much effort I put into a few details here and there. I'll definitely take your thoughts into consideration when I do the textures up.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by stroboscopic lightning, but I'm sure a quick Google can tell me what you mean and a quick search of the Starport can tell me what to do to get it working.
EDIT: First texture to be redone: that awful gold...

An example of what I was trying to say.
Left Texture: Vanilla Liberty L_panels
Right Texture: Continuum's Liberty L_panels
Wow. Those look good. I'm a horrible texture artist though, so I probably couldn't really pull off something like that. I'm simply the only person we have who's brave enough to pretend to be a texture artist for the sake of the mod.
I suggest that you use the vanilla textures after that you have recolored them to fit the design that you are looking for. I hate talking about stuff like this on a forum, if you want help, you know where to find me.

We hope to have some new things out to show you soon.
