It has been a busy couple of days. Teerin showed me around Liberty a few days ago, we ran patrols through Colorado all the way to Kansas. We even got in a fight with some Xenos and a couple other pirates. Spent an awful lot of time on border watch in Texas after that. I was planning on doing more of that today, but we ran into some Rheinland ships, a Roc and a Cruiser. They eventually retreated back into Hudson though.
However I got my flight times all sorted out:

And I found this smuggler for you. The bugger docked on Manhattan before he responded to my communications however. Maybe send a copy of this to the LPI so they can do something about his docking clearances.
Well sirs I finished outfitting my Upholder earlier today. She even got a trial by fire when I ran into an Outcast capital ship not far from my homeworld. She went down under a hail of novas with the support of several ships in the immediate area.
Later in the evening there was a rather lively patrol through Liberty. One of the first things we did was deal with a Corvo with Zoner markings in orbit of Manhattan, a ship that proved to be a might bit uncooperative and unfortunately landed under fire. I believe the higher-ups are putting together something to strip their docking clearance. Things got exciting after that though. Our flight ended up chasing a Rheinland spy ship throughout Colorado and New York. The ship initially surrendered but attacked when confronted by the LNS Mount Hood.
After that our ships went in for repairs and some pilots were treated for injuries. We proceeded to patrol the border at Texas. Sometime into our patrol, a Freelancer by the name of DuskEagle alerted us to the existence of a pirate ship which turned out to be a Hacker Gunboat. It was dealt with by Atlas and Wicks while me and Teerin guarded the border.

On patrol, the Freelancer DuskEagle reported to me that a pirate had jumped him in the Pennsylvania system. I proceeded to check it out since I was already in the area. Sure enough 10k from Bethlehem Station (Zoners) was a Hacker Gunship by the name ***Black*** (IMAGE SCAN). Interestingly enough, this Hacker did not have any weapons mounted.
Wicks, and I stopped this Hacker, and fined him for his illegal vessel - in which he replied "I would rather die" .. Needless to say after we cracked his hull and blew off his main thruster, we figured we had made an impression on him, and Wicks allowed him to land on Allentown; Junkers base.
Today on patrol, I was forced to engage Chris.Able a known gun for hire. After being outmatched and depleted of ammo from just finishing a dogfight with a certain Outcast LF in the Colorado system, I was ordered to return to base. Michael.Morse and I believe there may have been a cloaked ship of some type providing aid to this criminal as the fight progressed, he seemed to be replenished of his Nanobots multiple times.
After repairs, I stopped a base construction platform, and assisted in the collecting or Nuclear Devices from a Ship.02 who claimed to be hauling for Interspace Commerce, but lacked proper papers to vouch for it (IMAGE SCAN). Together, Morse, and Admiral Polstari and I all escorted the vessel into the Kepler system, and fined him 2.0000.000 SC - and it is to my understanding the correct parties have been contacted to deal with this -
My day ended with assisting Wicks with the successful cruise disruption, and termination of a Rheinland Military Cruiser in Liberty Space under the name "Echo."
Today, after a short scan of New York, a Zoner Carrier - complete with jumpdrive - was found orbiting Rochester Base with a Junker Barge next to it. The jumpship, callsign Divinity's.Reach alleged that they happened to "fall out" of hyperspace in New York, in the vicinity of Manhattan. Both myself and Vice Admiral Teerin took the circumstances as very convenient. Vice Admiral Teerin recommended that the Carrier be escorted out through Colorado and the Junker barge be taken back to Puerto Rico - which was executed without an issue.
In addition to the escort out, I have issued the following standing orders:
The Junker Barge .:j:.Forum and Zoner Carrier Divinity's.Reach are not permitted in Liberty under any circumstances.
If an officer comes across either ship, they are to immediately escort it out through the closest exit. Lethal force is authorised on the Carrier only if resistance is met.

Good evening all,
Well. Looks like the recruiters finally talked me into it. As of the twentieth of this month, I'll be resuming duties with the Primary Fleet. I'm still waiting on a posting from HQ, but it'll likely be back in the Fighter Wing once I clear flight refreshment.
To those of you still around, I look forward to serving with you again. To those I haven't met, well, I suppose we'll get to that. In any event, it's good to be back in uniform again.
Regards,
Jane Hartman
Commander (Res.)

A large combined strike force proceeded to the Hamburg and New Berlin systems today and engaged in combat near the Hamburg gate in New Berlin. We sustained roughly equal losses to the Rheinland Fleet, with them losing two Bismarck class battleships, a cruiser, and a gunboat, and us losing two cruisers, two carriers, and various smaller ships.
We regrouped at Bering to fend off the Rheinland counter attack, crushing numerous Rheinland vessels as they engaged us. Minimal losses were sustained and no major Rheinland targets managed to flee the battlefield.

Evening, sirs.
I'm reporting in to notify you my initial recruit flight time has been completed. Aside from what's already covered in other officers' reports, patrols have been largely uneventful excluding the odd petty crime, so all I've got is flight clocks to show you.

Good day,
In lieu of the efforts of the Secondary Fleet Core and other Liberty Naval Warship Captains to improve coordination between our fleets, I took the suggestion of pressing the attack on the Rheinland front.
Starting with a small but agile fleet, we headed out for Hamburg in the hopes of catching their defenses off-guard. The initial composition of our ships is as follows:
Quote:
LNS-Rheinfall: A class
SFC|LNS-Blade.of.Mars: B class
SFC|LNS-Interdictor: BC class
SFC|LNS-Philadelphia: C class
LNS-Argo: G class (DISABLED)
[LN]-LNS-MacArthur: G class
Michael.Thomson: B-snub class
LNS-Cortez.4-9: B-snub class (SHOT DOWN)
[LN]-Sam.Underwood: E-snub class
Due to the lack of specialized scout craft, we were forced to use our gunships as screens for our capital ships. It took some time for enemy resistance to materialize.
We manage to catch a lone enemy Gunboat off-guard: [X]
Moments after that, forward elements, consisting of the gunships and Sam Underwood began scouting the Hamburg area. As we passed the planet, Sam managed to catch a lone fighter. In order to prevent it from finding our capital ships, I ordered him to dispose of it.
Forward scouts of the Rheinland defence fleet began to converge on Sam's location. We were forced to send in the gunships to provide additional firepower, given the extremely limited amount of fighters we had. Suddenly numerous bombers appeared on our tail... Unfortunately the Argo began taking hits and was disabled soon after.
The MacArthur came under fire next, but the timely assistance of two Freelancers helped our cause. They have been compensated for their effort for managing to destroy one bomber.
Captain Xiger onboard the Philadelphia managed to call additional reinforcements. When more enemy ships appeared, I hesitated to send additional ships... minding the amount of bombers the enemy had.
At Captain Xiger's insistence, the Philadelphia and the Rattler, two specially-equipped cruisers were sent in to thin out the bombers. LNS-Cortez.4-9 was shot down as well.
With the appearance of two Rheinland capital ships, we sent in the rest of the fleet.
Philadelphia and Rattler both scored a kill: [X] & [X]
Michael Thomson managed to catch one as well, but unfortunately we were not able to register the kill.
Missiles of the Harbinger caught a lazy fighter: [X]
No losses were incurred during the retreat. Overall another victory.
My commendations to both the SFC| Captains, for their superb performance against the enemy, and Sam Underwood, for doing an exemplary performance in scouting.
Seems all the crazies came out to play today! It sure as heck is gonna give the Junkers something to do. Things started off rather smooth, but I got reports of a ton of pirates in Pennsylvania, so I redirected there and met up with a pair of LSF agents. The first troublemaker was a Rogue Gunboat with Hacker markings called Fallen Saint Joseph, but that fellow didn't exactly last long with me and Thomson on his tail. I even managed to land the critical blow to his vessel.
Not long after that the remainder of the pirates came out of hiding. Namely a pair of bombers and a destroyer. One of the bombers was even full of all kinds of contraband. One bomber fled, and the other one was turned to paste by Thomson. The destroyer, Pure Destruction, eventually crashed into Bruin however.
After that an Outcast pirate gunboat by the name of [V]Horus showed up, I hung back as the LSF agents and an LPI gunboat were already on his tail and wrecking him.
Things get interesting after this though. Got a pair of yahoo capital ships, a Colonial Cruiser marked as Silver.Cruiser and a Zoner battleship by the name of ~Hunter~ were loitering at West Point. The battleship docked before much conversation was had, however the cruiser was escorted out of Liberty space to Magellan, even though I ordered it to Cortez. At least it is gone. Get that battleship marked in the database though.
