the combat there is pretty much point and shoot. The projectiles are REALLY fast, thus missing isn't nearly an option. And since there's no EK or w/e, the turning method is pretty much just mouse furthest from center and maybe mix in a little bit of stopping+thrusting. Nothing to make out a skill factor at all, I suspect it will get old fast.

But, but, but! EK is probably the only thing Microsoft's slaves (the company who actually made the game) probably got partially right when making this game.
With such a system I guess ganks would be way worst since the skill factor won't be able to make up for things. Only thing left would be good coordination.
Everything looks nice and fancy. But the combat is indeed boring as crap. Large fights might look awesome and stuff, but you can kill things too quick (and die too fast, logically).
Also it's star wars, lasers actually go fairly frikken fast here. Ships should just be equally fast as the movies (and the aiming reticule removed np np)
poorly is a nice word for that. It's doesn't seem designed with PvP mindset at all. I mean, try to go attack some NPCs and you might actually find it fun (if they horde up), but besides that, boring. Really boring.
