Sup.
My dayjob involves me sometimes spending a whole lot of time doing nothing else but derping around the forums or Youtube. Over the years I've gathered a rather sizable watchlist, which I would like to share with you peeps today. They are given to you in an alphabetical order. Hopefully you can find something interesting to watch here as well.
Quote:AdamThomasMoran aka 100500 (IN RUSSIAN)
100500 is a russian channel with weekly updates on the most popular viral videos in Russia. Mostly comical and fail-material, the guy himself presents them in a comical and over the top manner that is enjoyable to watch. Has a lot of harsh language though and if you do not know Russian, then most of the videos will not make sense to you.
Quote:Amway921WOT(IN RUSSIAN)
Amway is one of the more notable Wot-related youtubers in Russia. While you will see a few more on my list, Amway's gimmic is that he is a rather good, but not overly professional player, thus his reviews offer a much more random-related information on tanks which an everyday player might find useful. Another thing I personally enjoy from him is that during reviews and guides, he tends to pick average battles. Many other guide-makers for WoT tend to pick their record battles for the tank they are using, but Amway focuses on everyday battles, both good and bad. Also, he is a very productive YTer and uploads one video every day or two. This allows him to show both good and bad battles. Both first impressions and conclusions.
Quote:Angry Joe Show
Angry Joe is a well-known game critic and reviewer on Youtube. His reviews are a mix of satirical material on the greenscreen and the review itself. Though he mostly covers triple A titles, his activity is rather constant and his over the top responses on how game devs and publishers screw up are always fun to watch.
Quote:AsapSCIENCE
If you want to watch short and fun looking videos which cover a huge amount of everyday questions and subjects, these guys are your men.
Quote:CGP Grey
CGP Grey covers a wide variety of material on his channel and presents them in a very nice to look at visual style. Mostly educational material, his uploads tend to vary in complexity and one video is explaining how the Daylight Savings work, while another delves deep in a justice, political or religion-based system.
Quote:Angry Video Game Nerd (Aka Cinemassacre)
AVGN covers satirical reviews on old 8 and 16bit games and gaming platforms, though his real calling is in the film business. His reviews are over the top and enjoyable to watch, but lately they have been replaced by a project he is working on and cannot frankly shut up about.
Quote:Crash Course
One of my top most favorite channels hosted by Hank and John Green, Crash Course is just what it sounds- a youtube version of a class led by these two epic men. I wish we had these back when I was in grade school, so I could sit down and listen about history. But not only. Currently CC have 9 different playlists about Psyhology, World, US, Extended history, Chemestry, Ecology and Biology. If you need to refresh your knowledge on any of these subjects, just load one up and grab yourself a coffee.
Quote:Extra Credits
Another channel I outright love. EC are a group of game devs and reviewers, who tend to talk about...game stuff. Jumping into many types of topics, their videos are also good to watch just for the visuals.
Quote:League of Super Critics
Channel dedicated to media review. Movies, music and other. Many people, including the Nostalgia Critic/Chick, Cinema Snob, Todd's Pop Song Review and others.
Quote:Let's Play and Rooster Teeth
I come home, get some dinner, plop down on the couch and turn these videos on. Laugh at Gavin. Top keks.
Quote:Mental Floss
Mental Floss is a channel with contributions from many people covering intellectual topics.
Quote:Regular Car Reviews
Look, I am not really a car guy. I treat mine as a vehicle for getting for point A to point B and sometimes to invest money in when it collapses in on itself. This guy, however, makes me laugh. The reviews are very over the top and satirical and fun to watch- whether you like cars or not.
Quote:Murazor TV | World of Tanks (IN RUSSIAN)
Murazor is another well known russian WoT player and youtuber, whose videos focus not only on tank reviews, but also daily streaming, rant/whine/rage videos related to World of Tanks and a lot of historic videos, where he covers curious warmachenes used in WWI and WWII.
Quote:Scott Manley
Scott Manley has a very space and scifi orientated channel, mostly related to Kerbal Space Program, Star Citizen and other simulators, but also runs other games such as indie titles and even Freelancer.
Quote:Vsauce
Of all the intellectual channels on my list, Michael's one stands out in the amount of effort he puts into the subject matter he discusses. He may start with something simple, but quickly spirals down deeper and deeper, often bringing up some very interesting facts and snippets. Very fun to watch. Sometimes mindblowing.
