I know you're sick of this gif, but as long as your snark factor is higher than 10, there's no other option to reply with.
I think events are fine, it's just that I play games on a casual basis and like the freedom of being able to sit down and play and also switch off whenever I feel like it. Hence, scheduled events don't suit me and I never participated in one where I didn't join either in-game or on the day.

Swap spiderman with anime stuff and Omicega is an equally viable candidate.

I wish Omi would sign up for the job too. Just needs to get a phone with longer battery life.
I'll sign up the last day if there is free space. I'll let the blokes who like fighters better sign up first. I'm coming just because it is out of the ordinary and sounds fun.

I agree to that.
Omi for Deb.
Omi for Admin.
Omi for Grand Overlord of Bypassing swear-filter of Disco.
Ignore that last statement. ))
The event sounds cool, I would join up, but I cannot guarantee when I can log, and hence signing up for events is out of the question. RL is greater than disco and because I live in NZ, fixed time events usually are set early in the morning for me, meaning I cannot log.
A question with this I had though, how will you get people to accurately choose their next target? I mean you cant alt tab in a fight and check the event list obviously, so what, numbered fighter names then?
Best of luck though

I too have the feel we are often sissying this game.
Honestly, the fact that you're trying to ram the event down peoples' throats makes it incredibly unappealing even disregarding how poorly the idea is likely going to work in practice.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.

How poorly its going to work in practice? this isnt the first time I have done this game, 75th have played it with more than 12 people.
it just requires you to be not thick. easier to dictate when you lead the faction, so ive limited it to 12 incase people cant handle it
and if i dont ram it up your ass nobody will turn up at all, as proven by the last event which only a handful of praiseworthy individuals attended. out of the large scale murderfest i had envisaged.
Action -> Reaction.
if its unappealing to have somebody try and get you to come and have some to generate some activity then fine, dont come, whatev's
