COMM ID: Captain Remus Sius
TARGET ID: Liberty Naval Forces
SUBJECT: Re-Organizing Efforts
ENCRYPTION: HIGH
PRIORITY: HIGH
Attention to all Liberty Naval Ship Captains,
Numerous times I have heard from our own civilians, our own people... that the Liberty Navy Secondary Fleet is in need of -MAJOR-, and I do mean major efforts at re-organizing our fleet.
I ask everyone of you... Will you let old faithful Liberty frown upon the lack of coordination within your own? Will you let Liberty's enemies stand strong and belittle our Navy to the point that they see us... little no more than cowards?
The Navy -was- more than that, our Navy is more capable than that! I would like to quote the great Admiral John Talon:
Quote:
"We are the Navy.
We're not run-off-the-mill men-at-arms.
When you look outside, you will see us flying in space.
You will see us fighting for those who cannot fight on their own.
You will see us watching over you and making sure no harm is done to you.
To your family. To your friends. To all Libertonians.
As for our strength,
there is no armor one can wear,
no wall or fortress one can build,
no force of arms, no shroud of fear,
to equal what our hearts have willed."
These words should be heard by every personnel, every crewmen, every captain. All of us should remember our roots... in that doing so may strengthen our resolve for the future.
You might ask... who is this officer... or why is he saying this... I shall answer in return...
Some of you may have met me, some of you have heard of me, I know most of you do not know me but I ask you to just... hear me out.
Like many of you, I was once a member of the Secondary Fleet. Like you, I once felt the strict orders of the Primary Fleet... of being told what to do and what not to do. It is a very tiring job, to follow orders, to put oneself under another...
To do this requires trust... to put yourself under the command of another means that you trust that person and this I require from -all- of you... I am asking all of you to trust me.
I have been tasked with re-organizing our fleet. It is with great honor that I now carry this responsibility. Hard-lined critics question the ability to re-organize the Navy's current state... but I am confident that with everyone's cooperation, we will prove them wrong.
Now in lieu with that... I hereby request everyone, old and new, veterans or otherwise to register/re-register their ship (with arnaments, equipment and other additional information sent through privately to me) using this simple format:
