I'm not talking about self-defence - since all you people have right to doing so
I'm talking about shooting random NPC - just because it haul valuable cargo.
Those particular player were killing neutral / hostile / allied NPC - just for the cargo
and THAT is just nonsense inRP - and that is imho metagaming.
If they really want pirate cargo that much - then they should use Pirate ID
and do not sit just in front of neutral bases...

I care and I'm not crying - I just express my concern about the matter.
About ID :
Quote:Pilot carrying this ID is a Freelancer, who:
- Can attack any ship in self-defense or to protect an allied or neutral ship.
- Can fulfill any bounty and escort contracts, and may treat transports as combat targets
when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
- Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo, except for the Pirate Train.
- Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above.
Could You show me where there is a line that Freelancer CAN pirate NPC? There is no such a line
futhermore - there is a line that Freelancer "cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above"
So - IMHO - killing NPC in purpose of pirating their cargo by Freelancer ID players
is against the rules, since there is no bounty on NPC, there is no escort - just piracy.
