Looks like you've been even more busy in the meantime everyone.
I've read through the reports, everything in order as usual.
Save from those oddly misplaced ships everywhere.
•First off: On the Zoner Aquilon-class Carrier, the "Flaming Bess".
Since this was the first time the ship was encountered, we'll leave it at a warning, as Zoners are in general a peaceful lot afterall.
However, if the captain of the ship breaks the law again and disobeys orders once more, and, most importantly, endangers the lifes of the citizens of Liberty...
Well, then you are authorized to use whatever means necessary to prevent any harm from being done to our people and yourself.
If that means the destruction of the ship, so be it.
We also will not contact the Council of Zoners at this time.
Should the ship cause trouble once more, we'll do, but there's no reason to do so for one-time-only matters.
Just causes more paperwork for everyone.
None of us want to have another enemy, ladies and gentlemen, but I think we can show good will here and hope for this to have been a one-time incident.
•Second: The Phantoms "[color=#FFFFFF]Dark Blossom" and "Gloom" encountered near West Point Academy.
We've had encounters with the Phantoms in the past, and two of them, or even three according to sensor data of yesterday night, showing up in the same place is a bad sign.
You are all ordered to be on the lookout for the Phantom ships, and to excercise extreme caution when approaching them.
If disabling the ships to capture the pilots proves impossible, you are to gather as much data as you can, without taking any unnecessary risks.
And most importantly, do whatever is necessary to defend the citizens of Liberty.
•Third: The Gallic Royal Navy ship "[color=#FFFFFF]The Grey Poupon" encountered in Manhattan orbit.
I have no idea whatsoever about what the hell a royalist capital ship would be doing in Liberty.
The whole "mission of peace" thing stinks, and getting any stray royalist ships out of our space is what we all should do if we encounter them.
No need to take any unnecessary risks until we recieve other orders from the government.
To Captain Malaign:Your title of Commodore has been revoked by the High Command.
You're hereby ordered to do the full work of a Captain as usual, since you seemed to be highly interested in doing so earlier.
To Captain Peters:Due to a database error most of the records regarding yourself have been lost.
We've added whatever we could salvage back into the secure database, however we had to decide about your priviledges in general.
The result is as follows:
You are still, as always, the captain and commanding officer of the [color=#33FFFF]Nimitz-class Assault Carrier Retribution.
You maintain full authority over the ship, the strikecraft squadrons on it, and all onboard personnel.
In short, the beast's yours as it has always been.
You also maintain most priviledges according to your rank.
However, your actual command authority in the field is restricted to that of a Lieutenant-Commander of the Liberty Navy.
You're a special case in that regard, and I'm sure nobody will mind it that way.
On another note, it was good to have you on my wing earlier.
To Commander Elwood:For now we've decided to put you on a one-week trial before you regain your former rank.
During that time you have to fulfill the usual duties of a Commander, and you have to get your strikecraft sorted out as soon as possible.
You've got the authorization for "Codename Weaponry" still, so take your pick and get it done.
And Curtis, it's good to see you again. Been missing your loud mouth.
To Lieutenant Commander Casero:Your successful diplomatic approach with the royalist ship has been noted, and...
Well, I can only hope for other officers to learn from your example.
Getting the royalists out of Liberty, unharmed, and preventing the other ships in the area from firing on that Gunboat surely was no easy task.
So, good job Casero, damn good job.
To Lieutenant Commander Malrone:I've forwarded your report on trying to arrest a Phantom to Admiral Hale.
Not many men would've chosen to do so, especially not on their own.
Let me just say that your bravery has not gone unnoticed, Malrone.
So... what else was there....
Right, earlier today our forces neutralized an Outcast Gunship, two Rogue Gunboats and three Hellfire Legion strikecraft in New York.
Communication IDs of the Hellfire Legion strikecraft were: [HF]-Andrew.LeBlanc, a Broadsword-class Bomber, [HF]-Atheus, a Bayonet-class Heavy Fighter, [HF]-Jim.McKinsey, a Sabre-class Very Heavy Fighter.
Other than that there was a large encounter with the Rheinland Military in Hudson afterwards and some other unlawfuls that were neutralized after said encounter.
Admiral Hale or Vice Admiral MacTavish will handle the report of all that I think, so that's all from me.
For now.
