Today I was patroling around omega 41 from omega 47. I tought after last events I'll be some action - free. But seems not I search from problems, but they found me. While patroling I got strange weak shattered signal. Seems regular hessian activists, Ernest and Franck were somehow trown into barbarian capital known on star maps as omicron gamma. Later they told a story, that by patroling they got into some sort of strange Neutron star created storm, which had unexpected effect. Propably the neutron stars chaning gravity field somehow complied with the jumphole and they were sucked in Corsair core space.
I had not much time to hesitate, leave them to be die there and to be eaten by those cannibals later, or to help them fight their path trought corsairs and get back on Freital.
I made my choice. Heh, perhaps that wasnt very logical decision, but I have feelings too unlike those who inhabitats gamma. Luckly, Ernest from RHA was avalbible. I shouted for him, and we both jumped into that god's forsaken place.
As we tought, it wasnt been easy. But as I say caveman is still caveman even with huge warship. We found the unlucky hessian pilots with Ernest in already outgunned battle. Here we stood their groud.
Eventually total corsair force of:
* Cuisser
* Corsair oversized brick they call gunboat
* A bomber
* Titan
* and two light fighters piloted by benitez family memeber (any ideas how they breed so fast even if there is lack of food?.. disturbing)
versus 3 odin class VHF's and my Thor.
Anyhow, our pilots are not brainless or education lacking people. So logical mind wins agianst instincts once agian. After the battle, all safely went back to Freital. No bigger looses suffered, expect that my ship was a bit damaged but it still flies and is all togheter. While corsairs lost 5 ships. One Benitez managed to run. Since our mission was to save Ernst and Franck, we didnt pursuid corsair in such hostile space.
Here are the guncams and ship explosion register. One is missing. Heh, its hard to photo and launch snac in the same time. Isn't it?
