a few minutes after them Pria arrived.
She walked to the bar, ordered a pint of ale, and joined the duo.
Before saying anything, she took a sip, and smiled.
Fully aware that he's usually not allowed to enter this bar, only able to get in with the good word of Graham, Morgan did his best to behave and settled next to him.
He scanned the bar briefly. Everyone around him surely were of higher rank. Pilots of the army who had proven themselves to be useful against the Gallic menace. For Morgan, they were all heroes. He hoped to be one of them eventually as well, since he had nothing else after he lost his earlier job as a salary man. Desperation and the feeling of powerlessness had led the young man to be a member of the BAF as well.
"Thank you for having me here." he said to Graham, sitting right by him and Pria. He almost had trouble believing his luck with his superiors as they all seemed to be cool men and women. He took a quick swing from his drink.
Soon, Eva entered Wellington too. It was her first visit, so she decide to look around, and find bar. After few moments, Eva found her friends, and approached them. She ordered a glass of scotch. After this, Eva sat near Pria and put her hands on the counter, waiting for her drink.
"Dont mention it Morgan" He said after taking a gulp from his pint. "You seem a little stressed out my lad, time to relax! Shift's over."
He put the head in the neck with a shot of whiskey, ordering a new one straight away as Eva arrived. He turned towards her smiling.
"You've made it too! I wasn't sure if you'd come over or let us three alone."
-Ye lad -Pria took another sip of her ale and started searching one of her pockets -you've made yer first patrol without any accidents. She finally pulled a lighter and a small box of cigarettes. Grabbed one from the box, and after she lit it, passed the box over to Morgan and said -Oh and forget the rank here, we're off duty.
Morgan took another long sip from his drink, it helped him calm down and care less about appearing 'proper'. He was the kind of guy who tried to do his best no matter the situation, and the alcohol was a good refuge to allow himself to let loose at times to not go completely crazy with the stress.
"Yeah. I am still not used to the military life. Hell, a few weeks ago, I was only a planetsider, so everything I experience now is something I need to get used to. But I'll do my best. I do not plan to go crazy and become useless until I can take down at least one frog down with myself." He took a large swing from his whiskey.
"Please allow me to shoot the next frog, sir and ma'am!"
Knock yerself out -Pria replied, then turned to Morgan. -Don't worry, you'll need a little time to get used to this -smiled -Y'know we came for all aspects of of life. -Took another sip and laughed -The only thing we agree on, how terrible is the standard food ration.
He takes one, lighting it, taking a deep breath, then turning back to the others.
"Gladly they dont force us to eat them when we're close to civilized places" He says half laughing. "This stuff is good for the dogs maybe but I can live without it."
