You come back with an upset Hessian character with a chip on his shoulder because he just lost his life savings because a Liberty mall cop doesn't know what's illegal and what's not.
LP Inc. are the real cops in Liberty. We don't make mistakes like that. However indie police players don't have the same standards that we do. When in doubt look for a LPI-,[LN],or =LSF= tagged ship to help assist with problems like that.

Since always because buying and trading them supports Hessians, which are enemy of their enemy (Rheinland government).
For Driculi - sometimes people want to be cool tough guys but laws are not easy to remember at beginning to mistakes happens. Maybe you can try to get refund inRP from Liberty government.
Explanation inRP from Liberty Navy officer is in my signature...
I'll be honest, I didn't realise they were actually legal in Liberty until this post came up and I went to double check.
But then again this is why I play Navy not Police, and also why I don't generally join in on anti-smuggleing operations unless I have the Laws of Liberty up on my other moniter.
That and don't forget one thing, the LPI (InRP) is one of the most corrupted Police factions on the server. So even if its not, they still can pull you over and fine you.

The LPI corrupt? Blasphemy! Who else is gonna stop the serious criminals like those who (may or may not) have a broken tail light.
