Meh, balance changes will never make the mod that much better, its dwelling on the wrong things. It was fine for years. Everything that is done is compensation for being unwilling to do anything real or new, and it seems to be out of fear that they'll actually have to incovenience themselves for the community. No one knows how to space world here, they just think they do. Disco is that place that purposely avoids doing real things in the game, and avoids epic weapons, abilities, developing game skill.
The "mostly RP" crew doesn't want to actually need to do anything more in game so they don't support adding more activities, and the mod suffers, the players lose interest as it goes stagnant. The pvp crew is happy with shallow events to just log every so often and have their quick fun, so they don't support doing more. All in all they all ruin the mod by holding the rest back to suit themselves. Not to mention changes are just done to suit the personal desires of the devs. They change the game to keep themselves on top it seems, and keep it locked out for the same reason. The immersion is dead, the purpose to involvement is dead, and the potential of what can develop among players/factions is dead. Many decisions have dulled the sharpness of this game/mod over the years, and it's become a kid's game. There needs to be changes to how the mod operates completely to finally unblock it and create some never ending purpose to keep it worth it.
There is a whole game world going completely to waste that could be incorporated into gameplay and rp, and doing so would create tons of possibilities for new situations. Changes in that area are much more needed than stats changes or commodity changes, as new options allow for new situations that help keep the playerbase from hitting the 'wall'.
