Your suggestion to go check the dictionary to verify if the wiki entry of the definition is the same is an excelant suggestion, something I learned to do long ago concerning wiki and thus now don't even bother with wiki. It's a public billboard left to the whim of the masses. Thankfully there far more credible sources out there that can be dug up without being a lazy student using the wiki.
I just can't believe that a group of people who play a game such as this so often actually have the most trouble opening their minds to the very things they like the mostm, when information pertaining to similar things in real life comes out.
If you think the universe outside Earth only exist in video games, you're the one living a fantasy.
You people should be the ones that require the least convincing on these topics. This just goes to show how potent government control over media and education is. I'm dissappointed. This arguments I'd expect on a COD forum.
If you told me they were releasing chemicals on populations, I'd believe it. If you said they were playing around with very low frequencies to mess with heads, I'd believe it. If you said they were trying to hide current illegal military operations (which will be revealed as all other seem to), I'd believe it. Actually I'd even believe that they are trying to do antigravity, but to have succeeded long ago and kept it secret. Gov'ts are simply not that good at hiding secrets for too long. Maybe long enough for the ones who made the decision to get away with it but sooo many extreme projects would require lots and lots of manpower further dilluting any possibility of keeping it secret.

Have you listened to his radio podcast? I did. All of it. What he says there is more then the absurd out of this world conspiracies used as diversion that you are perpetuating. Listen to them, start searching for books, read some history, make some analogies, use your brain. That's what Bill allways said, use your brain, don't believe anything you hear, allways research for yourself.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Actually I'd say we know how to leave our starships behind when we logoff the game.

Well its flood.
Should have done it on another thread.
