Can't GMG appeal to BDs? Gaians to Corsairs? Molly's to Gallia, now. or at least provide them with information regarding Bretonian installations (yes, I know they're not in alliance). Rogues to Outcasts (but I guess they'll want something back). Diplomacy for teh win.
I hardly can imagine a Molly/Rogue battleship fleets. Hessians/Core and few other factions is already on the edge...

I wouldn't want a Molly Battleship fleet. that'd be silly. But NL is outside gallic ZoI, and so is Dubs.

I would not complain in having 2-3 of them. Hell we could even build them in RP bringing all the parts for them.
The currnet base balance is such that even core 1 base without any repairs could not be taken down with cruisers in reasonable time (5-8 hours). I am a bit more practical.
I would be however more happy to see the anit-base torpedo made on player base- it is a way better solution. People invest a lot of time in base building they should not fail easy, so in order to fail you should have your own base to produce the weapon for it. I also think that there should be waring in the green letters for the whole server when someone start using this torps on some base.

Those torpedos still wouldn't allow you to waste a base through it's shield Govedo. They'd just give bombers a mortar-like weapon that is extremely slow, and very easy to shoot down. It also requires them to replenish ammo after expending 70 shots. Which is enough to take out a base with a number of bombers roughly twice the base level once the shield is breached - but without that breach, you're not going anywhere...

The shield fuel is entire issue, most bases are located close to fuel sources, in case of Mollys, the base is 6 tradelanes and 1 jumpgate away from mox sellpoint, and one 5k transport is worth 11 (not sure here) hours worth of shield.

Seven hours and twenty four minutes of continuous uptime for 5000 units.
And you can get basic alloys from Waterloo for cheapest price. It would take you less than twenty minutes to stock a base up with ~20.000 units of alloy, and then another ten for 11 hours of fuel.
