St.Denis: bringing goods into Liberty those are clearly from Rheinland origin still counts as blockade running, am I right (no, I'm not, but still)? It does not matter whether you haul it through Bretonia or not, LN will pop you for "supporting Rheinland" (as it happened to me quite a few times when I was hauling Nuclear Devices back in 4.86, into Liberty through Bretonia). Or they were just trolls.
The hauling of Nuclear devices in Liberty is totally restricted without prior permission. So any attacks would/should have been based on this premise. They could have been from Kusari Space and you would have still been stopped.
Quote:Still, this arises a few questions: how can the not very lawful factions get these goods? I mean Corsairs, Outcasts, Order. Yes, Freelancers can supply them, but what about Xenos? They don't really like freelancers, and inRP they would never buy a commodity from an other House. For example, they can get it only in an ooRP way (as of yet).
As far as I know Corsairs, Outcasts and Order have fairly reasonable relations with the Junkers. The Junkers are seen throughout Sirius, including Gallia, hauling a multitude of Commodities. Zoners/OSI spring to mind as well as their relations are fairly friendly/neutral with all of the above.
The plight of the Xenos is a difficult one as they seem to dislike anything foreign. Maybe they should say that 'sometimes you must make a pact with the Devil to achieve what you want' and turn a blind eye to where certain Commodities come from. I suppose the Purists amongst them will/should not build Bases. There again do they know where every Commodity comes from?
'I would like to be half as clever as some people like to believe they are' Life is full of disappointments, it is how we handle them that helps to define us, as a person
Laws of Liberty:
"The transport of Nuclear Devices is only permitted by the Primary Fleets, Liberty Corporations, Borderworld Exports and Gateway Shipping Inc."
I was shot down in Gateway Shipping vessels; it is not written that only primary (official) corporation ships can transport it.
Back to this topic: if a commodity has sell points only in Rheinland/Kusari/etc., it is very clear where it came from. Same with uncut diamonds for example: if you are flying a lawful vessel you won't be able to tell a Xeno not a Kruger/Daumann guy mined it for you.
Well, the Reinforced Alloy is sold on a Xeno base, so "Purists amongst them should not build Bases" is not that true, as they have access to the main maintenance commodity.
I just thought these commodities (at least the ones for maintenance) will be more widely available.

I thought it only applied within same system. If I'm wrong in that, then sorry, my apprehensions are groundless.

Was there a public discussion over this that I missed, or was this solely dev side and only announced now?
It seems good, with both alloys and robotic hardware.
But what about the hull segments? That is a widely required commodity too, and it has no sell point in Liberty, for example (or I did not find it). Will that get a little bit more sell points, too? Or could you make a list for that?
Thanks in advance.
Question: hull segments still does not have any sell points in the Items Repository database in my FL Companion. Why?
Nice, thanks. So if I'm right, basic concept is: one sell point for lawfuls and one for unlawfuls per house (except Bretonia, where the Gallics have separate sellpoints in Leeds for themselves), plus the ones in the Borderworlds, for the different factions residing there.
And all of the 3 basic commodities are sold in separate systems (one system sells at most one) in Houses.
UPDATE:
I noticed there is no sellpoint for Robotic Hardware in Bretonia. Holman in Tau31 is only reachable through a warzone, and BMM can't dock on it for example. A sellpoint in Newcastle would be logical,
I'm sure Bretonia will get its Robo from Aland, Omega-3.
By the way I have a serious question!
Will there be any time to supply bases with new commodities or as soon as rollback is done all of them will just lose HP until they are resupplied with Reinforced Alloy?
To the time the rollback points we had NO Reinforced Alloy. All bases will instantly start to lose HP and owners will only have about a day to fix them. And until that time Base Hunters will have a feast. (Can't dock while shield is on)
