Jessie observes the man in front of him curiously, a hint of amusement playing over his face as a slight discrepancy appears in the visual appearance of his interviewer. Mumbling something to himself, he hears the next question which is offered to him. Without questioning why such a thing would matter, he speaks up quite frankly.
"Teal. I have always been fond of the blue-green range within the color spectrum, although I admit the darker colors besides that have always had a place in my heart. I have a few stories I can tell you about colors, but I don't suppose this is the appropriate time to tell them. In fact, I have quite a few stories in general. Perhaps sometime in the future if I am not booted from the station for perhaps.."
Studing the facial structure of the opposing man quietly as he thinks of how to put this.
"Ahh.. failing the interview perhaps?"
Smiling more to himself, rather than anyone else around him.
Aube took a moment to calm down, he focused, then began to talk.
"Oui, admittedly, this isn't going to plan. But uh, I don't think anything is going wrong... on your end. You've answered all the questions I've asked without me having to actually ask them. Your stories would be most interesting, if I were to be the final verdict. I'll take what notes I have, then take those taken notes the leaders, then I'll get back to you!"
Aube jotted down some final, messy notes before he began to orderly pile everything into his bag. He let the metronome tick for a few moments more though, chuckling randomly as he put it back into his seemingly infinite bag. He took a moment to wave off the possible employee.
"Au Revior, Monsieur Cliffton! Apologies about my in-formalities, but I reassure you that you'll get a fair chance to prove yourself in front of the Bosses, even if you are only there in paper."
Aube waved at him one more time before taking off, out of the bar.
Jessie watches the opposing man leave, eying in curiosity what else he may have had in that bag of his The moment he stepped outside of the room, he lets out a quiet sigh and loses almost all sense of the professionalism he had, slouching over in the booth, and crosses his legs in an attempt to get comfortable.
"I wonder if I overdid it.. No matter, if it makes people happy, i'll deal with it."
Turning his gaze to the empty wine glass, looking at the traces of the blood red liquid in it and sighs quietly.
"I wonder what 'she' would think of this, hm? Most likely laugh at me and say 'I told you so' knowing her. No matter. Differentiation from interdependency may actually feel good."
Trailing off, remaining in his seat for a little longer, debating if he should get up and leave just yet.
Sébastien finished his conversation with Gervais at the bar and turned to watch Jessie leave the room. He check the company records and noticed that Aube had just been interviewed. He smiled to himself and ordered a bottle of wine before walking over to Jessie's table. "Bonjour, I am Sébastien Fétique, Commodity Trader of Stokes Station and Heavy Escort for DRED." Sébastien noticed the man started to stiffen up. "Relax, I don't do any of the hiring around here, I do most of the drinking however." He laughed good naturedly and took a seat at the table. As he kicked his feet up the bottle of wine arrived and the glasses were filled. "You'll notice we don't stand much on formalities in the war zone." he chuckled again while drinking deeply from his glass.
Jessie eyed the newcomer with curiosity, taking in his appearance quickly.
Sébastien you say? That's an interesting name, well met. Jessie Cliffton. I suppose you could say I haven't been around too long, and that is still subject to change."
Chuckling, glancing around the bar.
"Is everyone here part of the same group, hm? I suppose it's not unheard of, i've been in places before which is almost monopolized by a single group. Granted that was in a different part of Sirius."
Not bothering to sit up streight again, in fact, leaning against the wall of the booth slightly.
"War hmm.. Curse that woman, I tend to think philosophically whenever that subject is brought up. Ah well, no matter. I'm here because this is 'not' a militant war-bringer. Although I suppose it does dabble in some.. dangerous activities, it's certainly not what I despise."
Sébastien laughed again. "Well if its danger you seek you most certainly are in the right area. We had a few profitable routes out of the Leeds System but most of that ore has dried up. We operate mostly out of the tau's now. That in itself brings its own excitement." He laughed and refilled his glass again. He held it up in a toasting fashion "Viva La Gallia!"
