Soo,Some of you may know I was travelling for past few weeks and returned home yesterday.
My annoying brother who is my sworn enemy has used his own money to buy a new Motherboard and processor and install it (This is evil as both are pretty meh and I was about to buy a expensive one after i got back ;( )
Now my not-so comp savvy dad says "He updated it,dont waste cash buying more"
;( .The evil one has trapped me with mehhh hardware.
Soooooo,to the problem.
I now have a HP Narmada TG33MK Motherboard with inbuilt graphic's card Intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
The processor is Intel Pentium Dual Core E5300 2.60Ghz
Win 7 32bit OS
Directx 11
When i play launch Discovery all goes well till i log a ship, from HERE all goes crazy.
The text of ship names,IFF,windows such as cargo hold, equipment shops text, nav map text, ALL go mad and start zipping around the screen magnified at high speeds.
How to solve this problem?I tried updating graphic's drivers but it doesn't fix it.
I know the build sucks so please dont make me cry more by reminding me of my dilemma .
Update:
I Re-installed both FL and Disco prob still persists.
Also i discovered if I have Chat box open it stops and as soon as i close it it starts again.

Try updating your graphics card. It's simple to do. I can upload screen shots if need be.
1) Right click on "My Computer" and click "Properties"
2) Click on Device Manager
3) Click the little whilte triangle next to the "Display Adapters"
4) Right click on the card you have installed (If you have more than one, do the next following steps to them all) and click "Update Driver Software..."
5) Click "Search Automatically for updated driver software"
6) It'll then ether say that you are fully updated or they'll be something for you to download
7) Download it, install it and restart your PC
8) Try and rerun Freelancer, see what happens.
Edit: Turns out i didn't read your post properly. But try what i've said anyway as this will make sure it's fully updated. If not, reinstall disco. Can you provide any screenshots?

The rest of the steps you have already taken.
Good luck!
Will follow your steps but I seem to be unable to open the-starport.net for now properly so will try again later.
