i can understand garrett's confusion. i'd have expected a high ranking member to have some sort of template or identifying feature (color, font, etc) to mark out as being someone relatively important in/to the faction.
The lack of such identifiers is prob what misled garrett (and whoever made the complaint) into thinking it was just some random guy who shouldnt be posting there.
Presentation is everything. Your post was so poorly presented that it gave the impression that some random lolwut had gone and posted in a transmission that wasn't addressed to him :/

We can give a slap on the wrist if it makes you feel better.
The moderator responded to a complaint from a member of the community that you were not supposed to post in that thread. If that was incorrect, let me know, and I can make it visible for you.
If someone posts in a communication thread, not directed at them, the moderator may choose to simply invise it and hope that the poster is intelligent enough to figure out that he wasn't supposed to post there. If you feel that, in your case, you need a pm, we can instruct the moderators to do so in your case from this point onward.

"internal comms"
So in fact it shouldn't be in that thread at all.

There is a good reason why we expect well-presented roleplay posts, especially from representatives of Official Factions: they promote suspension of disbelief, thereby enhancing the atmosphere of the roleplaying environment.

That would have been me. Stop giving Garrett a hard time.

Yes, otherwise I would not have hidden the post. There is no personal vendetta being exercised against you or your faction. It was a misunderstanding, because as Sabre, Lyth and Echo have pointed out, presentation matters a lot.
I hid your post after it was reported by a member of the community who I thought was involved in the situation. It turns out that was not the case, they were merely trying to help out, and had come to the same conclusion that I did when I saw your post. I intended to send you a PM about it, but that must have slipped my mind. I apologize for that.
Here are some suggestions on how you can help me avoid making a similar mistake in the future:
Pay a bit more attention to the formatting, capitalization and punctuation of your posts. This not only helps their credibility, it also makes them a lot more pleasant to read. Some may even consider them more immersive. Posts that lack any formatting are commonly seen as a trademark of inexperienced players. As petty as you may think that sounds, my experience tells me that the average user will not take your posts seriously unless you take this into account. Disco is full of elitists, after all.
If for some reason you feel more comfortable with your old style of posting, you could consider adding an ooRP comment whenever you barge in on a conversation, that clarifies you're allowed to be there. Alternatively, it really helps to put something in that Server Factions/Characters field of your profile, so I don't have to dig through your post history in order to determine what factions you are and aren't part of.
