Personally I like the front "wing tip" on the right. The one to the left is ok too, but I dislike the new ones.
Would it be possible, if you have time, to do a side-by-side comparison of the LH VHF, Guardian and Rapier? Just to get an idea of how the ship will have to be scaled to fall in line with one another (I think they base scale on cockpit / pilot size, right?). I know that's subject to change, I just think it will be handy to think balance at the inception. I also think guns should be centered as much as humanly possible.
Yes, I want a superior PVP ship for the Hackers
Edit: Again, great work. The more I look at the ship, the more I like it.
My Paint skills arent exactly great either. Look at me signature.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.
Not much feedback to deliver, the entire ship is perfect. I can only find two issues which should be addressed and both of them are located at the back of the ship.
The engines;
Since the model is not getting a radiator-like module, the engines can become slightly more sophisticated again. I think the engine's cylinder should be removed and whatever remains should be turned into something like this, covering the entire rectangular.
The high-tech module;
I am referring to the mirror-like module in the middle. Its tail should be removed as it gives the ship a very heavy look, and instead engrave on the glass of this module the LH thunder (not the crosshair). Of course engraving means that the logo will have just a slightly different color than the glass, either heavier or lighter color (whatever you feel it suits better after the ship is textured).
If I am allowed to say, if this can be incorporated into the model, it will become one of its kind in Discovery.
For me this model is finished. Further changes will most likely neither visibly improve nor deteriorate the current result. I am afraid we have reached the point where every small change will have a similar number of sympathizers as in opposition. I personally like the best current solution with the arm-wings. I like how the cockpit is finished. I like the positioning of weapon mounts. Finally, I like the sleek finishing of the vessel's body in the rear - it might have been a better idea than the radiator like module. The only thing I don't like are the cylinder engines which I would prefer to have replaced with roughly what was before. Rectangular or trapezoid-like engines blends much much better with the overall shape of the ship. For me, other than the engines, it is finished. I am eagerly looking forward to see it textured.
Chrono is going to talk and collect input here passing it over the LH guys and then to me. It is rather hard for me to maintain ll the input and keep all the details in my head.
