I can surprise you with little not widely known fact: Muslims consider Virgin Mary as the archetype of perfect faithful woman and recognize Jesus Christ as a prophet, so it's sort of their event as well. ^^ Some Muslims actually go on pilgrimage to Christian high churches under the calling of Virgin Mary, what I found out in Cracow.

This is true, Muslims do consider other religions in their belief, specially Christianity and Jewish religion are considered brothers and cousins to Muslims, but still, it's not a Muslim event
Virgin merry is a very unique and respected character to Muslims and you are correct, Muslims consider Jesus, the messiah, a prophet, not a god.
