I have collected some money and I want to buy 1 of these big ships. What's the best in your opinion? Best in 1 BS vs 1 BS? Best in big battles in general? I have read some really good comments about the Osiris, but the Geb stats seem interesting...
From what I've heard, Geb is currently broken and is probably going to be nerfed. I'd go for the Osiris if I were you, as it's a fairly well balanced ship. But then again, I don't fly caps so I might be completely wrong. Should probably wait for someone more experienced to reply.

It's not broken really. While some of it's stats sound attractive geb has really horrible firing arcs, meaning you can't fire backwards anything worth firing. And in different angles some turrets just get stuck and won't fire while they should be.
This has been problem with geb for long time, but instead of adressing those for some reason he was converted into assault carrier from battlecruiser, and now is often target for complains how op is.
Geb is good at one thing only at the moment, and that is charging head on and tanking out other battleship, in this case makos.

If you took the Geb, and mounted her 2 Cerberus turrets along with primaries, you would win against Makos, but die against Marduks because none of your primaries can fire backwards. If you mounted her 2 mortars or a mortar and something else, you would be able to kill Marduks, but you would die to Makos with 2 Cerberuses, the loadout most of them appear to be using. You would also be ridiculed by the cap noobs who still think that the Geb is horribly OP. * Thunderer looks at Wesker
It used to be OP before the cerb nerf, yes, but now it is rather fine. It might just need its armour reduced (hello, it's a carrier!) or the turn rate considerably slowed down, 13°/s is just ridiculous. The same goes for the Legate by the way, since its armour has been buffed recently. But I'm wandering away from the subject.
I recommend the Osiris. A good all-round ship. If you mount 2 Cerberuses, you will be equal to Makos, save for having a smaller side profile and 30K less base armour. You will still be able to destroy Marduks with your 5 primaries, 4 of which can fire in all directions. Your secondary turret count will be lower, but by my experience, bombers aren't a huge problem in the Omicrons, and while the Geb's 12 secs can't destroy a gunboat that knows what they're doing, what the Osiris has is enough to keep it away as well.
The Osiris might seem like a worse ship to kill destroyers with at the first glance, again because of the low secondary count, but any cruiser/destroyer which is close enough to be hit by your secondaries does not know what they are doing, and can be destroyed with other guns too.
