Eve Online is a great teamwork game, however it was grindy (cant really stress it enough) and time dependent, that is, you have to have a certain amount of hours in trained skills to be able to do certain things, and per say if someone had years over you, they have many accumulated bonuses.
However the large scale of the game was incredible, with its diverse supply and demand economy, and the varied ways of making money, and how everything (or at least mostly everything) was bought or sold by players.
Making the game F2P though might give a player boost that will stimulate the virtual economy there + more troops for more wars.
Up, up the long, delirious burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or ever eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
So here I am with 26 million ISK from my last trial... And?
Honestly, no idea. Trading/ ratting/ mining in background while working? Well, at least I can run it under my Debian, where I have all my studying stuff.
If only FL had its multiplayer working for me.
What I really love EVE for is its models.
