1-have devs ever through of a cruise disruption field for BS's?
it has less range than the average CD but is big enough to stop ships within 2.5k or so from cruising and possibly thrusting
just an idea to help caps that do not know the advanced techniques
2-Make it a thread, Suggest it, see what people say
1-I get sick of big fat caps running from the brink of death and getting away on the lower amount of hull
2-Make it be mountable instead of a prim, Prims have too few variants, Just prims or pulses, Nothing else
1-well,prims are prims,they are the main weapon of a capital ship, they are meant to be that,pulses are only on their slots in reality because they are unfavorable to cerbs and mortars use wise to the newer player who then never uses such, that's my opinion anyway, but I find pulses to micro managing sometimes
2-Pulses are great if the only BSs you fight are heavy, But also BSs are supposed to be escorted, not go alone. That's why they don't have a CD but It might be reasonable to make a BS CD, because escort is hard to find these days
1-it really is, as much as I want to have that little squad to roll with, it don't exist

a lower range stops cruisers and such getting too close without consequence the same goes for fighter craft to an extent but we found it interesting but again it might seem bias with me being a capwhore and stuff
I'd rather see that as something for the Equipment Slots, as it has rather special traits. However, not really a fan of that, as AoE effect weaponry have the ideal requirements to troll your entire group. It's already annoying enough to hit other people when you CD someone - especially close to a station.

Stopping thrusting prevents cruisers from having any major advantage against battleships. Gunboats and cruisers will die. It also reduces the effectiveness of bombers and fighters.
Battleships should not be able to run in and roast everyone who likes to fly ships other than battleships.
Battleships should not be able to intercept vessels either. That's not their point. They're giant, hulking gun platforms. Snubs are the core of this game. I say this as a passionate cruiser player.

It's hard to find a CDer these days, with this activity. Not the most amusing job anyways, sitting by side and CDing. I'd like if my battleship had a CD, and I'm not sure how I could run someone down if I move slower or as slow as everyone, impulse or cruise. I could terrorize Dunkirks on my Valor by cruising on them and not letting them cruise away, but that could be easily solved by the area effect of the weapon as the cloak disruptor has, or it being to fire backwards as well. I mean, I wouldn't be able to cruise onto them at the first place.

battleships, or caps at all, with cd shooting backwards would be awesome - no more stupid ek thing
