If you'd be willing to oblige, we'll be on standby for the next few days before we can give you an accurate estimate. Once we tie loose ends, we'll find much more time for your project.
Until then,
Dr. James Erzie
Ingenuus Research Group
In a few days we would like to see a cost estimate of the work done so far (latency of 20%), a cost estimate of the final cost (latency of 30%), and a best guess percentage of how far you are currently into the project.
We see you have done some work on the project. Does that mean things have been settled on your end?
Before you continue further, please give us the cost update.

What was added to the file was merely concept based on my knowledge on the subject, and does not reflect our position on our ability to move forward just yet. Call it musings if you wish, however it was what I could complete while on the move. We'll have a price approximation soon enough, but for now we're going to focus on concepts and prototypes to resolve the issues. I cannot carry this project completely on my own, so I'll likely be bringing in more experts to both accelerate the process, and to fill in gaps in my skills.

IRG,
Unless you are fine with doing concepts for free, we do not wish you to proceed with this project until we can get a cost estimate.
Please halt your research and focus on the request.
Furthermore, since the IRG have not been working on this project for a substantial amount of time, you are unfortunately working behind where we are at.
i'd like us first to stabilize important things before we can proceed.

AFC,
I'd like to clarify that the work being done was merely done as a display for intention to move forward. When things get a bit more in-depth, I'll be sure to let you know before hand.
I am afraid that things are just not working out, unfortunately.
Almost one week ago from this moment, we have asked you to give us a cost estimate. We have also asked you for what you'd like as a final cost and the estimation of the percentage of work that has been done so far on the project by IRG. Unfortunately, we have not gotten a response after these few days.
We had thought as well that we made it clear that we do not wish for advances in the project until finances have been sorted. Today, I received notice that one of your research ships was out next to our station gathering research. Was it not clear enough of our wishes?
Next, I would like to remind you of what you are researching. It is not Anti-matter. It is DARK matter. There is a huge difference between the two. You have stated that you do not care about our research and that you know your own capabilities, but it looks like all you are doing is providing the wrong research on the subject. Are you treating us as if we do not know what we are dealing with? A one time mistake is forgivable. Twice in a row means something is wrong. We do not like to be scammed.
Speaking of being scammed, there is the third statement we would like to address. The IRG made no prior claims or contract stating there would be a NDA on the work you have been doing for us. When we were in the process of hiring new positions for the research, you interfered and made an assumption that we were already not working with you. The research was not even shared to anyone at that point as there were no Bidders registered publicly. I would like to know where you made that assumption from. You then pressed on the matter, saying that we stole your research that we are paying you to do and until later you tell us we cannot share this information to anyone. Please take a step back and reconsider your motivation. Additionally, you have requested an amount that you do not deserve, even for compensation. Let me restate that for almost 1 year there was only 3-5% of the project completed by IRG. Even if the 500 million credits was reasonable, you are pricing this small amount to be worth a whole lot more than it actually is. What are we compensating you for?
Fourth on the list is time management. We would like you to be open to us about how much time you need, but it looks like time and time again you have pushed deadlines farther, and farther, and farther. Even when in this past week we ask for a simple estimate, we are ignored. Do not tell me that you did not have time to not do a simple calculation as we have seen you with our own pilots doing additional research.... for what cause?
We see there is a lack of professionalism from the IRG on many fronts. We see that this NDA you are pushing on us is hindering us from hiring any other help and be able to share information and work together. We see that you do not value our time and refuse to co-operate with us and our wishes. You work on things that have already been completed by The Club and all you could have done is ask where we were in the project. Yet, you did not. We see as well that you push things on us that have not been prior agreed on and try to scam us and threaten us when there is no need to threaten.
It pains me to say that we cannot see a future for us working together anymore on this project. We would like to purchase the amount that we believe Rachel Snow has submitted, the first amount of research that was the topic of discussion 1 week ago, and we would like to end this project with IRG.
We are generously pricing the work done at 100 million credits. Please confirm so that the transaction can take place and we can freely move on our own separate paths.
Unfortunately we cannot keep the same pace that you are setting nor keep the demands that you have demand which will cause problems down the road.

AFC,
I apologize for this whole endeavor, sometimes circumstances make difficulties you cannot foresee; turn-overs get convoluted, or things just don't flow for whatever reason. To clarify what happened in this particular instance, our previous director and CEO was taken into custody by what we can only call a hostile organization and quasi-military, which means we were left without our best direction. As people step up to try and take such a grievous role, they can make mistakes. Such could be said about this situation as the amount of things I had on my desk caused me to even overlook the subject matter.
However, to clear up what the initial charges were; they covered the expense of damages cause to security in the case that they were not repaired, as the data used in those sections were actually sub-sections. Giving access to those would also leak access, or at least expose extreme weaknesses in our data protection system, ultimately causing irreparable damage.
Since that has been addressed, and files secured, you may have all the data we have collected, including intellectual property thereof, for your stated 100,000,000cr paid to the IRG|Sanctuary. Such would ensure your free use of stated materials, and should you need anything manufactured, including prototypes, we would be happy to help in any way we can.
Know that all our actions were in our best intentions to continue the project within the time allotted, to which we could not meet with our current limitations. We wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors.
Dr. James Erzie
Director; CEO
Ingenuus Research Group
I'd like to apologies if I came out too harsh.
I understand there are some things that can come up and distract attention from something. In your case, I guess you've been quite unlucky.
Everyone makes mistakes and we just move on. I don't label myself or anyone else perfect. Far from it.
In any case, I still believe it would be in the best interests for IRG if you had no pressure from the AFC and our projects and have a chance to focus internally on your matters.
I am sure as well that you have other things that have been on hold too, am I correct? We think that it would be good that since we can handle our own for now, we do not need to bother your time and effort on our project.
I'd like to thank the IRG for their efforts. You have received here your 100 million credits as stated.
We hope you can find and rebuild what you have lost, and we send our best wishes to the people you have lost along the way, including your previous CEO.
We'll grieve alongside you on the outcome, for better or worse.
We wish you good luck for the future of IRG.
PS: I'll just leave this with you....
It is not in our best interests that we would be attacked inside the NFZ of the research station.....
I hope you agree that this is something both of us don't want to experience.
We additionally have a very strong reason to believe the Auxesia are attacking us on behalf of the Junker Congress due to extensive investigation.
At least in the NFZ, we'd like to be kept in peace.
