Miyasaki..
Hello, Akira. Right now, I'm not sure what's gonna come out of this transmission, but I suppose I wanted you to know a few things. Yes, our talk the other day, if you can even call it a 'talk', did grind my gears a bit, but given how you're obviously loyal to the whole cause, I figured you were just being passionate.
Now, firstly, I don't expect you to understand everything there is to know about things out here. Toledo, Minor, the retreat, everything. I don't expect you to know. It helps, but it's not a prerequisite. What does help is context on the whole idea, and the understanding that one cannot represent the whole, and vice versa. This fact seems to be the one that gets Golanski in trouble the most.
I recently had a few altercations with the Core. Yes, the Core. The same mentally unstable parasitic military organization that continues to attack the Overwatch and Order forces alike. However, these were more rational individuals, willing to put aside the past to defeat an enemy that prevents our future. We parted once the enemy was dealt with, and then the Overwatch showed. What do they do? They cut down a fellow human being simply because of affiliation.
Again, I had another altercation with the Core. This time in Kappa. We were patrolling, and happened upon a well armed Core primary battleship. The ship was informed of our intent, which was patrol, and left us be. When Corsairs showed to make trouble, the Core vessels acted in peacefulness, requesting they not engage for their sake.
Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to know that the information you're being fed by that deranged manic lunatic is hot garbage. While there may be a pile of crap, there's always the diamond that shines in the light. Not every single enemy is truly an enemy. I've learned this over years past Toledo, where the Nomads killed every single person I held dear save my father. Yes, the Core were present, but they did not lay waste to the surface and turn the ground into magma.
Golanski would rather just sit back on Akabat and sip tea while he orders murders and claims territory for an empire that he is not, nor was he ever, fit to stand over. For your sake, and the sake of your ship, crew and friends, I'm asking that you think back over your time fighting for the Order. I've already done so, and every time I do, I see people melting in the Toledo magma. Sights that I cannot remove with a simple bottle of beer.
I hope I've helped you see things from my point of view. I'm no traitor, Akira. I'm probably the most loyal individual you'll find out here.
Stay safe out there, Miyasaki. God knows Sirius needs you..
