Greetings Dietrich.
I have inspected your base, Handlesdepot, and I find its location very suitable indeed. We have exchanged access codes and all is in order. We, at =DSE- are pleased to see the purchase price of Aluminium ore is as we discussed, and that I was able to sell premium scrap there for the agreed price of 8000sc.
We do have a concern with regards to storage, and it does seem a little small for what we would like. It is, however, suitable at this point in time. Do you have any plans to enlarge Handelsdepots storage capacity?
SENDER: Steve Veltman

TO: Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Greetings Dietrich. We thank you for providing the extra storage. That =DSE- was able to supply needed supplies to assist in the upgrade was a privilege.
=DSE- haulers and associate transporters have moved approximately 75,000 units of premium scrap to Frankfurt to date, and most have already been distributed by local carters.
We look forward to a very profitable relationship.
I am curious to know about the employment opportunities on offer. I note you have franchise opportunities for mining the various fields around Liberty. I am heading that way but would like to know if you have positions available in the haulage sector. I prefer the monotony of long haul trains rather than just mining. alone.
Does Deep Space Engineers offer franchise opportunities for anything other than mining? If so I would be keen to apply.

POSITION: CEO of =DSE-
TO:Trevor Harvey
Good evening Mr Harvey.
Is it OK for me to call you Trev?
All Deep Space Engineers have to be franchisees, Trev. So you would need to apply by submitting an application. It is mandatory even for me! Hell, I am out there mining for our haulers right alongside the other boys. A great bunch of men and women.
=DSE- is expanding their operation on a broader scale. Currently, we have repair ships working on the tradelane next to Sigma 13 Jumpgate in Frankfurt. We have ships patrolling minefields throughout Liberty, and we also have our very own repair ships building the new tradelanes and Jump Gates in the Poole system. Along with Agiera of course! This is taking me on a lot of business trips I tell you!
Currently we are wanting an overseer for our bases in Texas. This relieves me of a lot of responsibilities. It requires regularly maintaining them and supplying food, water and whatever on a regular basis. It also involves maintaining the inventory of supplies and running the shop outlet. There will be some long haul trips too. If you are interested, Trev, sign up as a franchise and then we can talk more.
Veltman Smelter is in the process of relocating to its new location. Final decisions about where and when are still being discussed with Liberty officials. Its life expectancy of two months was met, (as per the agreement) but the amount of corrosion to the outer shell and the external equipment due to the intense radiation was abandoned and scrapped. This included the weapon platforms and shield deployment apparatus which were now glitching and deemed irreparable. They were left active as the Base Construction Platform that was to be used to dismantle the hulk was still on board.
Currently, all the equipment, materials and supplies have been stored at Scrap Palace being refurbished ready for the rebuild of Veltman Smelter. All staff are on leave and on return will be reassigned until Veltman's next assignment.
As a side note, when the demolition crews returned to pull the now valueless and abandoned shell to bits, it seemed to have blown up. Likely cause was a buildup of methane gas (fart gas) left behind by a number of Outcasts that had been squatting there.
It is with great pleasure that =DSE- welcome Trev and Faye Harvey to the middle management position of Base Managers of Scrap Palace and the cooperative venture with Sirius Base Construction. They are not only valued franchisee's of =DSE- but in taking on the roles of managers of the are two Texas facilities enable me to build the business of =DSE- still further. Trev will also be using one of our might Mastodon's, made of course by our shipyard, to haul goods. Faye is a great office administrator, and they are ideal managers.
As you know, =DSE- has become aligned with SBC. Deep Space Engineers are major construction players in Sirius and it is a natural fit to work with SBC.
As soon as both Scrap Palace and SBC complete their extensive renovations we will be able to market our smeltered premium scrap through the company shop for our franchisees and valued partners. Not only is the cost to buy very competitive, but the purchase price of commodities needed to expand Scrap Palace is also very lucrative.
As an extension of our franchise policy, we will be offering franchisee's the opportunity to manage future =DSE- bases as the business expands. Watch this space.
My congratulations to the new Base managers of the Texas base.
It is really good to see =DSE- leaping from strength to strength.
I am sure that we franchisees will make full use of the facilities when the bases and smelter come on line.

TO: =DSE- Staff and Base Management. TO: General Public
To all valued employees and contractors. As you are aware =DSE- was hit by an economic downturn brought on by a number of factors. Not least due to the huge costs associated with Veltman Smelter and repeated economic sabotage brought about by Liberty's enemies. Sadly, this has meant the obligation upon =DSE- to continue the clearing up of the "Texas Incident" failed hypergate test run has been stalled.
Good news! =DSE- has established a new Base of Operations at Poole which will enable the speeding up of the Trade Lanes in Poole and also increase the number of employees. Once a renewed agreement is established with Ageira to transport jump gate and trade lane parts to Poole we will be advertising for transportation companies to tender an expression of interest. However, all =DSE- staff are automatically approved.
Veltman Smelter has been mothballed indefinitely, but rest assured as soon as an effective cash flow is generated =DSE- will again invest time in R&D. Watch this space.
Scrap Palace is open to all =DSE- employees and approved merchants to buy premium scrap - currently 70,000 units in stock.

TO: PRESS RELEASE
Since the demise of the scrap mining field in Texas, =DSE- has been gainfully employed in its core business of constructing and maintaining trade lanes, bases and jump gates. =DSE- continues to maintain a high production in shipping, especially "Liberty" ships bound for the war effort in Bretonia and Libertonian ship supply, maintenance and repair.
Key to these efforts is establishing bases of operations in Bretonia and Liberty.
Dorset Station is a well established BaseOps in Poole. It recently completed the trade lane connection through to Caernafon Station. It now has begun the surveying of the trade lane connection from Caernafon through to the Poole-Alberta Jump Gate.
Chicago is the BaseOps responsible for surveying the potential Trade lanes and Jump Gates from Pueblo, through to Toronto Station, our main supply base. Chicago will also be heavily involved in charting and potentially building the Trade Lanes from the Alberta-Ontario Jump Gate to our supply depot Camrose and then onto the Alberta - Poole Jump Gate. Our allies, Ageira, will be a great asset in supplying the necessary equipment. With such a short supplyline, we hope to make great progress once surveying, costings and permits are finalised and agreed to.
Old Trafford heads up =DSE-'s BaseOps in Manchester. It's primary responsibility is to qualify and quantify costs to repair the various trade lanes, bases and ships in Manchester. It is also =DSE-'s primary supply and support station ready to repair trade lanes, docking ports and bases leading into New London, Cortez and potentially Magellan once this horrific war stops. Old Trafford surveyors will have a secondary mission to scope out potential routes to Newcastle, Coronado and Leeds should they be necessary or viable.
As supplies are limited and the shortage of manpower stretches the ability of our Libertonian trained workforce to meet needs, we will be employing local personnel to meet the shortfall. =DSE- will soon be advertising for a variety of suppliers, and workers to meet their obligation.
