That guy... is ridiculously infantile and degrading. Plus he doesn't seem to have any actual knowledge about how human beings operate, or life, o (screw it) anything, actually! He just prates away like a National Socialist on an adrenaline high bothering all concerned with the link. Bloody hell.

Any moron can pen a point. This is why we have this phrase known colloquially as a"difference of opinion".
What antagonised me the most (quite apart from the blatant nationalism, the grammatical ineptitude, the racism, the way he seems to regard human beings as blunted sex objects (I mean, come on, his entire point about human cloning was based upon "boning/getting boned"...), the aggression, the condescension, the UTILLISATION OF CAPITAL LETTERS FOR EMPHASIS, the lack of sourcing, the hyphen misuse (or absence) was the very fact I bothered to waste my personal, unrefundable time reading this tosh.
So let's cut to the primary agitators, shall we?
"Before Apple fucked things up (in a negative non badass sense), "
Surely I'm not the only one who regards the above sentence as entirely antithetical?
Oh yes, the old racism adage. The fact that he has used xeno-archetypical remarks as an idea development is witheringly unamusing.
"Pictured: Lame whiteboy <expletive> that would kill to save puppies instead of putting their violence to use in serving their country".
I do hope this is an elaborate troll. He's taken an extremist group and dressed them up as the face of animal rights activists, and the very fact that he's so deluded as to assume that the primary purpose of the armed forces is to utilise"their violence"to some sort of civil function is entirely unsound.
This is an example of an asinine, ill-formulated rant. Come now, what sources does he quote here?
"Sooner or later, people gonna try to do it, if not already. A maniac is gonna give a computer self-consciousness, and in return, the computer is gonna do something unpredictable. Chances are, the self-conscious computer is gonna take over the world and use humans as batteries, or decide, using human morals, that the only way for mankind to be decent people is for mankind to be dead people (true story)."
...About as true as the Matrix trilogy. We seem to have this idea that AI's would be both A) impossible to manipulate and B) homicidal and self-serving, which is slightly bizarre. Remember, there were people in the twenties who considered the radio a herald of the apocalypse.
"SETI people are one of those idealistic morons who think that letting aliens know of our existence is a good idea. They think that aliens are gonna be super friendly and talk to us when they find us, instead of approaching us with their own version of human morals. The SETI people’s lack of common sense prohibits them from deducing that highly intelligent aliens won’t just land on earth, and then humanely slaughter us like we do to cows, despite cows having never really done anything bad to us. DAMN YOU SCIENCE FICTION! "
When is this infant going to cease utilizing "gonna"in his sentences? It just compounds his arrogance to the detriment of severity. May I also add that Aliens "slaughter[ing]" humans for what the author implies to be food makes for the plot of innumerable science fiction epics in itself. We then conclude that all other intelligent life within the effective range we can broadcast signals to will have both the capability to decipher the transmission and then construct an interstellar starship, both of which would prove feats beyond current human understanding. And if aliens could come to Earth, why would they? We have no material resource which renders us individual (excepting life), and if life was truly their goal then surely these all-powerful-beings would attempt conquest of a planet lacking in intelligent evolution? Supposing further that intelligent evolution was the endgoal here - why us? We're a capable species on the fringes of interplanetary travel, capable of unity but still readily equipped for the notion of war (indeed, we dwell upon it near constantly).
I would pick apart additional features (and indeed, would have written this to a superior standard), but this is flood and I doubt anything I type here will be read by the hysteria-monger who originally posted the item concerned.

No... Cuz sentient AI's will have programmed in their brains the Asimov's Laws of Robotics!
I did read the contents of the link - it contains bad logic - take the first bit on Seti. The author of the post assumes that they are the only group sending transmissions that go into space - There are a lot of transmissions that human technology has sent that have gotten that far - In fact one of the voyager probes has passed through the heliopause of the solar system and has continued to relay information back (plain English: human built probe has left the solar system while working & providing data).
