Manufacturer's Summary
Ironically labelled a 'civilian' bomber by its Libertonian designers, who also developed such classics as the 'Eagle' fighter, there is little civil about this piece of kit.
This ship is now being used by various civilian corporations that find themselves being pirated by gunboats and similar, who purchase this ship from construction yards or build it themselves after acquiring the rights to its patent. Also of note is the rather large amount of these ships found in the possession of criminal organisations such as the Xenos in Liberty and the Golden Chrysanthemums in Kusari space.
This may indicate that these groups are able to cannibalise the hulls of their Eagles and modify them to make them into bombers, or that they have more financial support for their military machines than lawmen would have previously imagined.
Seen all over Sirius, in the hands of corporations, criminals, Zoners and Freelancers, this bomber is a versatile piece of equipment, handy for those that all-too-often find themselves on the wrong end of big guns.
Sarah's Summary
For a while the most common pirate vessel in the colonies, the Roc's still popular enough that you can, well... Throw a rock and pretty much be guaranteed to hit one. You'd think that strapping on all the additional shielding for the beefed up reactor would eat into the Eagle's maneuverability, and you'd be right. However the Roc's clever enough to at least offset that extra weight with additional thrusters on the weapon mounts, which, in addition to being about as easy to find replacements for as a raindrop in a thunderstorm, manage to put out enough power to tie the Roc with the 'mir for the title of most agile bomber in space. Assigning 'most agile bomber' is a bit like saying 'most energy efficient tank,' though. It's a nice bonus, but it's not really what we're here for. Still, as far as bombers go, you could do way worse. As an added bonus, it's corporate enough to have cup holders and reclining seats. Enjoy.

When the Bounty Hunter Guild focused it's capital fleet on the Omicron systems, the Order needed a bomber that was both capable of fending off these attackers and efficiently engineered due to the Order's limited resources. The Sekhmet represents the pinnacle of Order engineering and allows the Order to deal heavy damage to attacking capital ships at minimal risk.
Sarah's Summary
No. No, I'm not doing this. Not again. I'm a mechanic, not a historian. I can't even begin to guess how they put this thing together. The spare parts we've got around can't seem to make their mind up as to whether they want to use Bretonian or Rheinlandische materials, the hull panels are made out of something that looks like sandpaper under a microscope, and the power supply doesn't even look like something from the colonies. Whatever the Order are doing to these things, they may as well be standing in a circle chanting French for all the sense I can make of it. Sorry, you're on your own with this one.

Database #032 - TR4c-T1R "Sense" Type:Bomber Model Number:517092 Role:Medium Bomber National Origin:Rheinland Manufacturer:Landwirtrechtbewegung Status:In service. Hull Cost:6.338.420SC Based:None. Variants:Sichel
Manufacturer's Summary
Due to the increasing numbers of heavily armoured ships travelling through Stuttgart, the LWB realized that the relatively new "Sichel" fighter was unsuitable to counter the warships of the Rheinland Military. The decision to create a heavier vessel was made, marking the birth of the "Sense" bomber. This ship, built with the help of Coalition and Hessian engineers, was based on the chassis of the civilian Roc Bomber, but upon closer inspection it has changed greatly from its predecessor. This is shown by the tougher hull and the improved reactor, powering up its weapons and preparing it to carve through anything in its path. However, due to the expensive production process, only a small number of these ships have left the LWB's bases until now.
Sarah's Summary
The Sense is big. It's a ship designed by, well, farmers, and I think they must've adopted the same industrial design philosophy common to farm equipment. Like the Sichel, the Sense's size is a bit... Overinflated for its role. There's not much of the original Roc still hiding underneath the Hessian's fondness for armor plating, and any trace of the maneuverability that made the Eagle great has now well and truly left the solar system and spiraled off into a black hole, screaming all the way down (along with the adjustable seats). Thankfully, the internal fit out is simple enough, with barely enough electrical systems on board to power the weapons and run the flight computer, the Sense is almost supernaturally immune to civilian-grade EMP. It's also ugly as sin, so just avoid taking it out in polite company and you should be okay.

The "Thor" was developed by the Red Hessians as an answer to the ever increasing Rheinland Military presence in Dresden and Frankfurt. A key point in it's development was the defection of several high profile military engineers, who helped adjust and refit the existing Odin fighter with the necessary equipment and technologies (used in the comparable ship of the Rheinland Military), in order to allow it the usage of high powered torpedoes capable of taking down capital ships. The end result is a highly mobile and armored bomber, ideal for fast attacks upon exposed targets in all environments.
Sarah's Summary
The Hessians may have gone a little mad when they build the Thor. It's a Medium Bomber in power core only, toting two dedicated torpedo hardpoints and the sort of shielding that's usually fitted to a Dromedary. Aside from the cramped interior qualifying anyone who can reach the shield generator as a contortionist, the Thor genuinely does a good job of looking terrifying. It's big, it's heavy, and it mounts more forward firepower then any other bomber we have. It also turns like an elephant in a grease pit, and the four reactors pump out enough radiation to paint it a nice bright red on any scanner that happens to be watching. If you absolutely have to reduce whatever's directly in front of you to its constituent atoms as soon as possible, the Thor's the way to go, but don't expect its reputation to earn you any friends. Then again, who needs friends when you've got enough firepower to qualify as a small station?

Manufacturer's Summary
Based loosely on an old, unpopular bomber design, the "Waran" still bears the name of the vessel it has come to replace. Many rumors circulate about it's origins. Some say Junkers mated the powercore of the old Waran to the Raven's Talon frame. Some say the Independent Miners secretly constructed this bomber as a craft for unscrupulous clients such as the Lane Hackers. Whatever the origin, the result is a sturdy bomber capable of unleashing withering firepower on a hapless target.
As with all bombers, this ship maneuvers poorly for a craft of its size. Nevertheless, its firepower and widespread availability found quick popularity with the "more power, more guns, fewer problems" crowd, which it turned out included virtually anyone interested in blowing things up. From Junkers to Gaians to Bundschuh to Xenos, this ship has found universal employment by pilots for whom style is not a concern.
Sarah's Summary
If you took all those old, cliched fantasy stories (you know the sort, where an unknown hero steps forward to save the world with only a chiseled jaw and sword) and melted them down and thenforged the resulting slag into a ship, you'd probably get the Waran. No-one's exactly sure where the design came from and, really, it works so well that no-one particularly cares. All that matters is that the Waran's there, and everything'll be alright. On a slightly more serious note, the Waran bucks a few traditions among the triple threat bombers. First its relatively narrow front profile (for a bomber, anyway) actually allows it to avoid some fire, unlike the talons on the Thor that make it a nightmare just to park. On top of that, it can be rigged up to carry a freighter shield, enough cargo to get you wherever you're going, and replacement parts are never further away then the nearest Junker.

Manufacturer's Summary
Designed with a generous power supply and adequate armor, the CTE-12400 Condor is still a rare sight in Sirius. The ship is a new design adapted from an obsolete Zoner model. Built and maintained by various organisations unable to develop or acquire military ships, the Condor is typically used for heavy escort, or, in the hands of terrorists, to deal with a heavy escort.
Sarah's Summary
You know it's bad when even the guy who builds it describes the armor as 'adequate.' Funnily enough, armor isn't actually a huge issue for the Condor. It's drive core is a bit light, for a gunboat, in exchange for slightly above average maneuverability. The Condor's biggest selling point is that, like the lighter ships in the CTE line, pretty much anyone with a manual and the parts can build and maintain one, and what you can't find, it can usually run without. For a while at least, anyway. Useful for a bit of extra firepower for a convoy, but I wouldn't ride one into a straight-up fight, if I could help it.

Manufacturer's Summary
"Heimdall" is the codename for the latest Red Hessian gunboat project. Named after the mythic Norse guardian, this ship was designed to operate with full efficiency inside the rocky environments of the Hessian controlled parts of the Omega border worlds, all the while maintaining a superior offensive and support capability.
Sarah's Summary
The Heimdall's a pretty simple ship, when it comes down to it. The Hessians built it with the sole intent of shooting the other guy and stealing his stuff, which it does quite nicely. It's got a narrow enough front-on profile to dodge most firepower a transport's likely to throw at you, and enough forward-firing guns to be on the tail end of a chase. It's a shame we don't shoot down too many transports then, huh? As an escort, the Heimdall's focus on forward firepower means that it's not ideal, but it's a useful ship to have on your side if you need to slip through the asteroids, hit something hard enough to leave them seeing stars, and vanish again.

Manufacturer's Summary
As multiple conflicts spilled out into the Borderworlds, those who braved this untamed frontier found themselves in need of something with a larger punch then even the proven Sabre. Border Worlds' engineers decided to use the existing Series Z as a model for a larger vessel. The Montante is the result of their ingenuity, an agile Light Gunship with strong offensive capabilities.
Sarah's Summary
More of an escort then an assault ship, the Montante's best used as a long-range scout, if you have to use it at all. When putting a flight of Sabres through the blender didn't end up producing a serviceable gunboat, the Montante was the next logical option. She's still a fairly young design, and the internal systems seem to have a bit of trouble deciding if they're meant to be in a gunboat or a gunship. Despite that, the Montante has inherited one good beneficial trait from her older, smaller cousin. The comparatively huge allocation of the drive's power to redundant engine systems means that she'll fly through anything short of grey goo and come out smiling, making the ship ideal for scouting missions out in the Edge Worlds. Just not so much for us.

Manufacturer's Summary
This ship is used largely as a tactical support unit, however due to its speed it can also be used as a deep incursion craft for contact teams or recon.
Sarah's Summary
The Kanzler might be mad, but he knows his ships. You don't really see much like the Oder- Oh, nevermind, I'm calling it a Shark. Always did. Anyway, you don't see a lot of ships like it around these days, which is probably better for Sirius at large, because we'd have just about wiped each other out with them if we did. The Shark's got an absolutely fierce array of teeth, and the power core to back them up. On top of that, she's small enough to quite happily drift in a battleship's blind spot, armor more then capable of protecting the crew against anyone lucky enough to land a shot. All the extra mass does play havoc with the handling though, and the Shark's the slowest thing you'll come across before you hit deep space exploration ships again. Not that it matters, with that sort of firepower. The drive core predates the Nomad war, which makes it a right pain to operate without training but, treat her right, and she'll outperform nearly any modern ship out there. The only downside is that the Military has more of them then us.
