id like to hear feed back from everyone about our new unofficial red hessian faction. yes there are probably mistakes. its a work in progress. id like to hear your views on this thank you
weve never used this faction before and wanted to do something different. I know the rote jaegars is a rh faction recently posted I believe but I haven't ran into rh faction members while playing. yes it may be (ANOTHER RH FACTION) as you say but its worth a chance I think. and also its a faction me and my family all agreed on to make as a faction since this is all family playing in this group as of right now there are 2 other members that want to join us and we welcome everyone on our journey because we see this as different than other factions because we want diplomatic relations with other factions not just war with everyone pretty much
Well... Alright, maybe I should break it down step-by-step.
Quote:wanted to do something different.
I hate to say it, but this really doesn't look any different than the 3 separate Hessian unofficial groups I've seen this month. (Yours, 53. Rote Jager, Assassins, I might actually be missing one). You have the standard Hessian diplomacy except for listed as being unfriendly with Independent Pirates.
Speaking of your diplomacy, you're listed as being Friendly with Unioners... Someone else could correct me if I'm incorrect, but the Unioners are openly aligned with your foes the Corsairs.
However, I think the precedent iRP is that the Hessians as a group need the Unioners for their Blood Diamond profits, so were I you I'd move the Unioners to Neutral. Your call however.
Actually, were I you, and if you really want to do something different, give playing a Unioner or LWB faction a try. There are no official (or even to my knowledge, any active unofficials) playing these extremely underrepresented factions.
1. What makes you different from [RHA]?
2. Other directives: "top secret"? This is not how things work here on the forums
3. "Higher up Red Hessian officials"? Did you even asked RHA?
4. Hans Eric Voss - where he gets his cardamine from?
5. You have more ranks than you have people - why? For most part those are identical too.
6. Your area of operations include Omicrons (?!) and Tau's (???!!!). Why?
7. Why is your leader called Chancelor, given the Rheinland chancelor is the Hessian's most hated person in the universe at the given moment?
Yet an other pirate faction? Why is 4 out of 5 of every new unofficial factions are pirates? We are drowning in pirates/unlawfuls, isn't any regulation for this?
I also see it no different from the other existing Hessians. And what are you doing in the Taus and Omicrons? Does even the Hessian ID allow you to pirate/engage people there? If not, what is the point? What is the inRP purpose of the Hessians there?
The reasons of the omicrons, and taus systems is like I said we wish to expand and have better diplomatic relations. like for example have a mutual interest in helping liberty if they were invaded by rheinland. and the reasons for the ranks is we want people to join us. as of right now it is all a family group. we have never done a faction official or unofficial that is on your server. yes I said members can pirate but pirating would only consist of mainly npc's like daumann and kruger and mostly of all rheinland. and you say did I ask the RHA. who are they. from what ive heard/read there is NO official red hessian faction. and that is a good question of the cardamine. the ranks are based off of Klingon rank from star trek. and we want more people to fill the ranks so we have a nice battle group. yes I know I missed things in the story and all of the things everyone has mentioned will be fixed in the story. the group that we want we want to mostly be more friendlier than other RH factions. and the reason for this faction is none of us had ever flown the RH ships and wanted to try something new to us. we only want a chance to prove and show we aint like the other factions. yes we will have to find ways to fund our organization but it will mostly come from pirating factions like corsairs rheinland ect. btu we want to try to make the hessian army friendlier than what everybody knows them as
The entire premise of the Red Hessians in the first place is that they are not friendly. They have a savage reputation, and many of their ranks are extremely warlike thanks to decades of massive conflict against the Corsairs/Rheinland. A "friendly" Red Hessian faction would give up their conflict in Omega-5, for example.
Quote:a mutual interest in helping liberty if they were invaded by rheinland.
At present the Hessians are hardcoded by ID to do the exact opposite; helping out Rheinland against a Liberty incursion. The Hessians are very nationalistic. You could "indirectly" help them, but from lots of past events, I wouldn't expect House Liberty to be very friendly towards any Hessian group.
Quote:the ranks are based off of Klingon rank from star trek.
A blatant import... I guess that one can be overlooked.
Quote:than other RH factions.
I think you're missing the point I iterated in my prior post entirely. While by all means you can play whatever ID you want, you're bringing very little originality to the table, "Friendly Hessians" or not. You would gain automatic points for your desire to --
Quote:prove and show we aint like the other factions
-- if you took up a different ID/IFF (COUGHunioners/lwbCOUGH) than one that has stereotypically been beaten deader than any dead horse.
Finally, while you're welcome to conduct trade convoys all over known Sirius depending on the diplomatic relations you wish to cultivate, keep in mind that ZoI tends to refer to areas in which a given faction can initiate PvP or similar roleplay; in the Red Hessian case it would be Rheinland and the Omegas. Just letting you know that attempting to do the same outside the faction's ZoI is a reportable offense.
Besides, you will likely get sanctioned for doing things in Tau's as a Red Hessians who reside literally on opposite end of Sirius. Red Hessians have no business in Omicrons either and if you decide to do so anyway you are likely to get into conflict with factions already residing there sooner or later.
"Nice battlegroup"? It all can be done with way less ranks. The Order in fact uses 6 as of current. Do not import Klingons - you will be frowned upon as current trend is to remove anything that resembles other universes on purpose.
Also, if you want to be diplomatic... Red Hessians are one of the greatest terrorists/pirates organisations in Sirius. Not many people will want to affilate openly with you. The most diplomatic of the Rheinland unlawfuls are Bundschuh who are most ideological, enlisting intellectuals into their ranks.
And yet again you have not provided a single word as to how you are different from RHA or any other indie Hessian faction at the momenth. My best bet is that the only reason you play Hessians are capital ships.
the ship I use for the hessians is the pirate cruiser. yes I like the looks of there ships a lot. and also like I said I had not done this before and I wont lie I am still new to this whether yall frown upon what I have done for this or not its something I thought of because I seen it as something different and had a different vision. if I need to pick a dif faction to try and create a faction I will but I thought id try them out since none of my family of me had flown there ships. and majority of the ships I fly are gunboats or smaller. yes I like using the bhg battlecruiser but down graded to the bhg gunboat and fighters. I personally don't like battleships much to un maneuverable in my opinion. but im getting off topic. im just going off what I had read on here and what 1 person had said about rh. I had a vision for something. I guess ill just have to try something else. I only started playing in 4.86. its hard to do anything considering all the rules that are on this server that keep you from flying a battleship thru some parts of space. I think if it was that big of a deal then it should be in the regular game. its some things like that that I don't understand why it is a big deal. not trying to rant but I think some things are taken to far. I love the game and wanna continue playing but some things need to be lightened up on I think. but anywho I thank all of you for your feed back on this it has been a lot of help and I will reconsider doing a faction and try picking a different faction that no one else has which I don't no which 1's those would be but thank you all for everythin
