Detailed Background, a Paragraph (the more we can learn about you, the better):
Hélène Dupuis was born into the Franco-Libertonian minority of Liberty, and her Sirian was somewhat lacking as a result. Her childhood is unremarkable, having attended to the Libertonian public school system, rarely ever having the chance to get off-station. The few occasional unlawful strikes against the station left her in shock, which triggered in her a strong sense of protection towards her compatriots from a very young age. Once in her teenagehood, Hélène developped an interest for all things mechanical and electronics as a result of her many part-time jobs helping mechanics, electricians and engineers maintaining the station. Graduating a few years later from the Toronto Station - Sector C High Scbool with average grades and obtaining her Civilian Piloting Licence the same year, she applied for an escort pilot position within the USI, where she received training in fending off, not killing off, criminals of all kinds. This was an occasion for her to finally see more of the world, and actually become interested in Inter-House politics and dynamics. When Gallia was revealed to Sirius, her minority became ostracized within the House. To prove her loyalty to Liberty , she enlisted in the Liberty Navy as to serve and protect her homeland from the potential invader, as well as to defend her honor and integrity.
At least, until her service disillusioned her about the reality of her House. Dupuis soon realized that the real threat against everything she tood for, her home and loved ones were not the other houses, but the alien invaders. Despite all this, she 'enjoyed' a fast tracked career until she stagnated at the rank of Lieutenant Commander, during which she became Second in Command of the intelligence wing of the Liberty Navy, the ESRD, having exhibited various traits that proved she would be up to the task. During that period, Dupuis found herself to be a bit of a tinkerer, proficient with most technology she'd get her hands on. During Operation Royal Flush, she served planetside alongside Rachel Baker, serving as her interpreter for all things Gallic, among various other intelligence roles. Dupuis soon became disinterested with the politics of the Navy after the major defeat, and renounced her position within the ESRD. Wandering for a while with other ESRD defectees, offering her services to the Order, she soon found herself dissatisifed with their own strifes and lack of ressources. As a result, she's been Freelancing solo ever since, occasionally making a return trip to Liberty to take care of her family.
Why do you want to join The Core?:
"Put bluntly, mutual interest. I recognize the Core's vast influence within the Omicrons, and their no-nonsense politics fit me well. My interest is in the Nomad threat, and I believe the Core is one of humanity's best defense against them. You will find that I can bring you valuable intel not only on the Nomads, but on many other entities, organisations and whatnot if need be. I realize our best shot at surviving is waging a direct war against them, and expanding our influence ever further into the stars. If you'd allow me, I'd be glad to lend you my extensive list of skills."
