Okay, so I have some questions about Faction Right 6, which reads:
Quote:Faction Right 6. Official player factions have the right to bounty or attack any player who is using their technology without the faction ID or permission from the official faction, regardless of their diplomacy toward the faction of the ship in question. In case of IDs with multiple official factions, gaining permission from one of the official factions would suffice, and once a technology is granted by one official faction, the other official factions should treat it as approved technology as well. In this case, factions are advised to keep a public record of their approved technologies for the purpose of better coordination with other official groups of their ID.
How exactly are engagements of this nature treated? Is unlicensed possession of the technology alone sufficient grounds on an ID that normally can't do so?
What about if the technology in question is a transport. Are you required to make a demand of a transport (problematic as you can't exactly demand they "return the ship")?
Can this be a demand your ID would not normally permit?
Yes, I'm talking about engagabugen unlicensed Golems on ALG ID
Also, I would love to see an ALG Confiscation Squad, all golems hunting golems.

Official KNF were quite eager to come to Rheinland back then and put a few holes into my ship, when I started the "Project Dragon".
I think it can (or should, at least) bypass both ZoI and 3.3 restrictions. It's quite logical.

I would say that you probably do have to make a demand on a transport just like how "can engage freely" lines still require it.
However, you could demand that they "return the ship back to ALG contractors/employees/groupies" on the nearest friendly station. That would be a completely reasonable inRP demand in this case, even if it might not be for a generic pirate.

Project Dragon is a battleship, not a transport, and KNF already have lines allowing them to make demands. Not really the same situation.

It would be reasonable, but the problem with it is that they'll simply dock and log off.
Bump.
As far as my judgement goes, I'd understand "Official player factions have the right to bounty or attack any player who is using their technology [...]" to mean that I can in fact simply engage people in such situations, with the faction right rule overriding other rules.
Before I potentially get sanctioned for this though, I'd still really like to know if this is how it works.

Make sure you do some forum and in game RP before you do so though
