---OFFICIAL REQUEST CONCERNING ID DIRECTED TO THE ADMINS AND DEVELOPERS---
We have been brainstorming with friend and we found out the reason why Bounty Hunters are inactive. Also, I have been a witness (and even a victim) to the events that indie Bounty Hunter Guild ID-ed people engaged on the pirate first, whilst ID forbids them to do so. We ask for some changes in the ID and bounty board rules itself.
1. Bounty Hunters Guild ID guys should be not required to register on lawful board, because it makes them no better than Freelancers. It just doesn't make sense at all to even be in BHG, as players on the bounty boards are mostly Freelancers. Just look at those lines:
Bounty Hunters Guild ID Wrote:- Can attack ships in self defense, to protect allied or neutral lawfull ships, or in defense of bounty hunter or BHG core stations.
- Can fullfill lawfull bounty and escort contracts, and treat transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them.
- Cannot use transports with more than 4300 cargo.
- Cannot ally with any unlawfuls.
- Cannot participate in unlawfull actions except for those described above.
2. BHG ID is in fact not different than Freelancer ID one, even more, Freelancer ID offers more options - those lines are exacly the Freelancer ID lines, written in the other way + they are more restrictive than Freelancer ID. What BHG ID offers is only BHG tech tree, which isn't that good (I like the design ships though, this is why I fly Manta). Also, we believe BHG should have full capability on the house weaponry, but have nerf on the house vessels to prevent them from usage of such. Alternatively, please make BHG tree tech a bit more powerful than both house and pirate ones.
Please reconsider the proposition and some changes to the BHG ID lines and rules concerning the bounty board registation. For now, BHG is just useless as they are still required to be registered to claim to bounty, in short. That place is filled with Freelancer ID in fact.
[10:49:01] Toris James Gray: it bothers me how two BHG broke the rules then
[10:49:02] Toris James Gray: i had Pirate ID
[10:49:16] Toris James Gray: and killed me, after two lines of RP
[10:49:24] Toris James Gray: no bounty on me, nothing
[10:49:40] Toris James Gray: soooo according to the thing two BHG broke the rules back then
[10:49:53] deluxian1: right
[10:50:30] deluxian1: Players using the Bounty Hunter ID may freely claim on lawful bounty boards without the need for registration, unless the board specifically states otherwise.
[10:50:46] Toris James Gray: so he can't do that though
[10:51:11] Toris James Gray: you need to register on the board, despite BHG could claim any bounty
[10:51:19] Toris James Gray: which is stupid imo
[10:51:38] deluxian1: but the rules state that bhg dont have to register
[10:51:52] deluxian1: only if the board specify it
[10:52:05] Toris James Gray: wait a second then
[10:52:46] Toris James Gray: "This is the channel where you must register to be eligible to collect bounties from the Liberty Bounty Board. In order to do so, you must provide:"
[10:52:54 | Edytowano 10:53:00] deluxian1: if the board doesn't specify that bounty hunters have to register also then its implied that you can collect the money on said bounty on the BHG
[10:53:01] Toris James Gray: Bounty Hunters shouldn't be required to be registered though.
[10:53:07] deluxian1: i agree
[10:53:19] deluxian1: thats like the reason for there being bhg
[10:53:50] deluxian1: if they have to register they why would anyone ever use bhg
[10:53:59] deluxian1: they only use freelancer like now
[10:55:24] deluxian1: bounty collecting should only be permitted to bounty hunters and freelancers, with bounty hunters not obligated to register, that would be normal
[10:55:34] deluxian1: that would acctualy make sense
[10:56:22] deluxian1: otherwise they should remove the lines that specify anything about colllecting bounties, cause it appears all can do that
Quote:7. All bounties must specify the persons hired to take the bounty before they can start collecting on it. Players using the Bounty Hunter ID may freely claim on lawful bounty boards without the need for registration, unless the board specifically states otherwise.
Talk with people running boards to include BHG as pre-registered organisation.

This is official request to the administration and developers. Please move comments here.
However, this is concern about the ID and Bounty Board, not about BHG| player faction (which is dead and no one knows the password.)
BHG = Bounty Hunters Guild = every single ship using Bounty Hunters Guild ID.
Admins have already granted BHG ID users this feature to give advantage over FL ID, but it also relies on Bounty Board owners to enable it. So go and bug them.

Would you rather have to pre-register once, or prove your identity every single time you claim?
What I am curious about also is how come, even though, only the BHG, BHG core and freelancer have lines in their IDs specifying the collection of bounties (from what i know of), others can do so too. for example ( again just an example, got nothing against JM), how can a junker collect a bounty on samura, even though the junker ID does not specify it can. I mean, can anybody collect bounties? how bout zoners? Ha bounty zoners ?
In all seriousness, if ID rules are boss, then what up with that?
