History:
“The name’s Edward Thatch… But you can call meh Cap’n” ~ Edward Thatch
Edward Thatch, Dublin born and raised. Born to a molly family, but an incredibly unruly child. By his teenage years, he was already flying a ship out to disrupt local mining efforts by the BMM. Late teens, he could be found drinking with the men in the bars across Bretonian Space, those that accepted the pirates of the space ways anyways.
During his early twenties, he found himself in a bar fight. The fight left him with a broken nose, and a black eye, but he walked away. Somehow during the fight, he managed to bring his “Fellow Molly” to the ground, unleashing a fury of hits straight to the chops. In a drunken rage, he knocked the man out cold. Uncaring, he rifled the man’s pockets, taking what he could, what he cared for. The keys he later found, gave him access to a new Bactrian freighter, and a healthy lump sum to help him start his new path of his life.
It was quite some time that Thatch truly made his mark again. He was now in his mid thirties, no longer the young man who drank and fought, then drank some more. Oh, he still drank till he couldn’t stand, and he almost never flew sober, but now he had a “Pirate Transport”, a small crew following his wild orders, but still a small sum of cash, keeping him afloat.
It was January of 822 AS when Thatch began recruiting for a small armada of pirates to fly under his banner. People were uncertain of Thatch’s wild and slightly mentally deranged character. To Thatch’s success, he managed to recruit some intellectual Mollys that had a lust for blood but in their own “special” way. Now with his small armada of pirates, Thatch decided to hit the highway and haul in the cash, to fund some more interesting operations.
