then note, we have three additional reports from three other players of the poor behaviour contained in this sanction. All pertaining to
Quote: 3.1 An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Saying "Engaging" is not sufficient and aggressors are not allowed to destroy a ship before allowing sufficient time to respond.
20:32:55 Nessie->Br05: 5 million credits.
20:33:09 XXXXX HOLD YOU FIRE!
Then
21:12:24 LNS-Connecticut->Iw04: Elijah: Time to release your souls, unlucky brethen.
21:12:36] NOTICE: Death charname=XXXX killername=LNS-Connecticut system=9b8f464b
And then where there is no direct engagement notice incident.
So at least 4 people annoyed enough to report you in a very short period of time. It is these sort of incidents that force the server to make yet more rules to try and mitigate what is basically selfish behaviour. This over complicates things and makes the game less attractive. The impressive number of ships including official and unofficial established tags show you are not even a new player.
Consequences:
Sorting these things takes loads of time so to save a little I have not placed sanction notices but I have put some of your ships in Bastlle to get your attention. Please read the rules, rules that exist because of player attitude.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbours, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE

Liberty Navy and Wilds are enemies, aren't they?

More than half a minute has passed between my demand and trader's death. I even did hold my fire after OSI requested it. However, he started arguing instead of paying up.
About one second is needed to send a trade request.
Typing "/givecash nessie 5000000" won't take half a minute either.
I don't consider myself wrong. This is, simply, a sanction for playing the game.
I demand an official apology from the admins, Tunicle in particular.
Yeah, you're not getting an apology from us, Sava. This style of gameplay of yours is upsetting to many players and frankly, we are getting tired of it ourselves. As horrible as your gameplay is, your attitude is even worse. You have a choice--change or leave. I don't honestly care what you pick at this point. I do know, if you don't change, we will make the choice for you.
GETTING IT OUT OF MY SYSTEM> DO NOT WORRY MAY NOT POST
Hopefully the following will give some explanation to the situation.
Violations are covered by more than just the person posting so let us not try and make this personal.
You have missed the fact that these are a follow-on of appearing to ignore the sanction from the 6th. One off incidents may have been thought as just sailing close to the wind but multiple from different people has to be factored in.
You seem to forget these are initially submitted by players, remember players post the reports we just consider them for the benefit of the community.
As a general point you are still ignoring the beginning of your ID. "raiding of houses or factions Bretonia considers hostile". If you consider that part of the ID inappropriate try and get the ID changed.

34 seconds is still tight, on a vessel with no guns or CM.
“Christ, do you not know how to give a man half a chance to write out a message“ is not really "started arguing".
Not sure why you have named the other player, if it to insinuate Admin bias based on recently transpired forum events then you have misjudged. When the sanction came in I cut the chat from the logs (which I often do) but then posted “This time could others handle it as I am part of OSI.“ at the end of my reply.

No, because that would probably be a judgement too far

All sound fine but <PRIME>Zeta03: ::<ignoring>:: is not the player who reported you.
This leaves
09.01.2015 21:10:40] LNS-Connecticut: Elijah: Jumped straight into the party. To general chat, could be to anyone. Then why the nearly 2 minute wait until your next post? The engagement notice, a bit odd if you have just dropped into an ongoing fight.

From when your intentions became "clear, to death, that is a short time interval
You then seem to ignore "And then where there is no direct engagement notice incident." when compiling your "defence".
Which follows a similar patter, system chat, a starge possible notice of intent then a quick kill

Sadly a number of players do and the evidence has been processed by the Admin Team and cumulatively suggests you need to take more care in your interactions to avoid getting into this position.
(01-10-2015, 04:16 PM)Sava Wrote: This is, simply, a sanction for playing the game.
This is a multi sanction on three reports closely following a previous one for playing the game in a manner that causes players to complain about your conduct.
(01-10-2015, 04:16 PM)Sava Wrote: I demand an official apology from the admins, Tunicle in particular.
Players have demanded that the Admin team step in to try and mitigate your gameplay.
An apology for what, you have suffered a mild inconvenience as ships have been placed in Bastille, no fines or lost equipment have occurred through this sanction. How else were we to get your attention after it appeared you ignored the sanction from 6th?
A considered judgement and interpretation by the team based upon player reports, examination of the logs and current rules has been made.
Garrett, you are acting as a censor, or a little dictator here.
Keep away your personal opinion about the quality of my gameplay when there is a set of rules, please.
The rules I didn't break.
You find my gameplay horrible? You aren't me.
Know what? I'm getting upset each time I get killed. I may think myself a reason why it was unfair, how bad the person on the other side of the blue is, whatever. I don't cry to admins because of it. It stimulates me to get better.
I may rise a question on forums or suggest a rule change if I think that it can positively affect the server atmosphere.
Again, you aren't the voice and common sense of the community, Garrett.
If you want to get rid of me, find an appropriate rule.
A statement from the admin team as a whole would be good.
I think we've already said what we have to say to you. I suggest we don't see another rule violation like this from you again. I hope we are making ourselves clear here.
