My name is Kalsai Lostra, newly appointed Administrator of Heisenberg Research Station. I am contacting both of your corporations in the hopes of establishing multiple contracts to begin the retrofitting of Heisenberg. As you no doubt are aware, this station is in dire need of upgrades, both externally and internally. Before we focus on the internal features though, we wish to upgrade and completely renovate the exterior of the station.
Adjacent to the construction crews needed, we have a list of items that we estimate as needed for this project. Of course, we will defer the exact requirements to you both, considering your expertise in such matters. Please let me know your thoughts on the below.
Code:
- Ablative Armor Plating - 25,000 units
- Energy Field Equipment - 0 units - Completed
- Industrial Materials - 35,000 units
- Iridium - 0 units - Completed
- Solar Panels - 0 units - Completed
- Superconductors - 15,000 units
- Ultralloy - 1,835 units
Should need be, we do have in our possession a "Barge" class mobile factory that we are prepared to utilize for this project. Once we have finished the initial retrofit of the super structure, we will of course be contacting you again for the internal elements of the station.
We await your response, and hope contracts can be signed and construction beginning as soon as possible.
My name is Franz Pfannenstiel, head of ALG's R&D department.
I think I speak for everyone in the company when I say we were most interested when we heard we would be getting new neighbors - Köln is a very quiet system, so of course this is a rare event!
I've personally worked at Heisenberg in the past, so I'm very pleased to hear something will be done about the less than ideal condition the station is in.
We will be happy to provide any of the materials you listed, and R&D could provide an engineering team if you are understaffed.
I can inform the transport fleet as soon as we receive the details.
A pleasure to meet you, especially the head of ALG's own R&D department. Your friendliness and willingness to work with our organization is much appreciated, and will be noted.
As to the project at hand. While we are still waiting for representatives from DHC to review our proposal, we see no reason why shipments cannot begin at this time in order to prepare for the construction efforts. Members of the IRG will assist in gathering supplies as well, but rest assured, a bonus will be applied for the materials procured.
As far as an engineering team, we welcome any outside opinions or recommendations with our planning. We do have some blueprints that I would be happy to send over to you, once we near that phase.
Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing materials arriving shortly.

Good day, Kalsai Lostra.
Firstly I would like to apologize for the delay in my response, I wanted to give our engineers a chance to look over your shipping manifest, and they have been rather preoccupied with some projects currently.
We are happy to see that somebody is doing something with the old research station, and I have sent your shipping list over to our engineers and they believe it will be sufficient to make any repairs you may need.
However, since it seems you have a solid team of engineers, I am not certain what Daumann can do for you. As I am sure you are aware we are a mining and construction company, and while we will be more than happy to construct any parts you may need, we feel you would be better off contacting Republican Shipping (RS|) for your delivery needs.
We would be willing to write up a contract for any construction required, but with your team of engineers I am not certain that would be necessary at this time. Feel free to contact us if you do find yourselves in need of construction personnel and equipment though.
Best Wishes Hanna Richter DHC
Discordianism: the Schroedinger's Cat of religions.
I'm pleased to announce the first spate of deliveries.
The first load of Solar Engineering's namesake product was hauled in from Berry yesterday by the Bariloche and Eisenstadt.
It amounted to around 9 000 units.
Somewhat later, a second convoy consisting of the Oberhausen, Wels, and Wolfsburg reached Gallia to complete the delivery of solar panels with plenty to spare, bringing some 13 320.
We have received your goods, as well as goods from Republic Shipping, on behalf of DHC.
We have updated the proposed materials list, so it should be up to date as to materials needed currently. Our pilots will endeavor to make some delivers soon, but we do appreciate all the assistance we can get to speed along the process.
Greetings, I'm Magdalena Atzenbruck, president of ALG.
After a little pause deliveries were resumed today, hopefully we can get this done in the near future.
I traveled from Gallia myself on the Eisenstadt, together with the Erlangen, delivering Ultralloy and Energy Field Equipment respectively.
The medium scrapping vessel Basel meanwhile completed a heroic round trip from New London, to Orleanais, then Picardy, finally arriving at Heisenberg with another load of Abbeville's finest.
Together with an eager new trainee, I made two trips to Gallia to finish off the Ultralloy.
Unfortunately the Apolda's cargo manifest isn't currently available, I hope I can dig it out at some point.
Just earlier tonight, I also made the trip to Delta to finally finish off the Iridium. It's one of my favorite routes that I just haven't been flying enough lately. The people on Freeport 11 are always grateful for fuel deliveries, and it's a very scenic location.
Apparently there are tensions between the Order and the Zoners out there at the moment?
We didn't see any of that - in fact, we didn't really see much of anything. I had organized a triple escort for the Thaya, my oldest and most heavily armed ship, but that turned out to be unnecessary.
Still, you never know what might happen out there. I've seen some intense scenes in the Omicrons.
Again a bit more than necessary, but I'm sure you can use it. If not, just send the excess over to our smelters, Iridium supplies are tight and we've always got good prices.
Still a number of goods you need. We will be taking care of it as quickly as possible.
A pleasure to meet the president of ALG. Your men and women have thus far done an incredible job in delivering the requested supplies. We will be sure to wire over some extra payments as appreciation.
As to the deliveries made, I am happy to inform you that our order for Energy Field Equipment, Iridium, and Solar Panels have been completed. Thank you again.
