Hello Guys, I am the joint leader of the Clan/Faction MaD Bros (Lane Hackers). You may have seen us around Texas and New york Lanes, making credits and pew pew'ing. We have came up with the idea (Not sure if it's been done yet) Where depending on how much you have been taxed, you will get a pass you can be given either 9 hour pass, 15 hour pass or a 24 hour pass. This "Pass" Basically means if you have been taxed by a [MB] taged player and you come across another [MB] taged player on you're travels, you say who has taxed you and how long you were given and how long you have left on you're pass and once this pass runs out you will be taxed again. Me and the guys in Mad Bros really love this and we do have reagular "Customers" One of them you may know "Smithy" He knows the drill. We do like to keep our group small and stuff so its easy to manage, but if you want a "taster session" Just contact me in game ([MB]NightWolf).
I'd love to know you're guys feedback on this idea for a clan/faction and way of taxing people.
Regards, you're not so friendly lane hacker, NightWolf
Well first of all I would suggest reading the server rules again ( if you already read them, which i don't think you did). Especially the one about reengaging. Also just making a faction, based only on the method of pirating ( cash for pass) is not that interesting.
Free advice here, join a faction ( or more), you are still new here, much to learn. Spent more time ingame seeing how things work and most importantly, abide by the server rules.
I like encounters with you. Your RP is decent even though you're still learning (rules, PvP). But who isn't?
Regarding the tax idea: This idea is not new, many pirates use it. Actually, traders themselves often propose this kind of "insurance" when they come across dangerous, frequent groups of pirates.
Insurance is an interesting piracy style to adopt. I often just use it as a fake promise to traders if they refuse to pay unless I give them this insurance, then I just pirate them later :}
