There has been some confusion about what stations have currently active No Fire Zones in which the laws of the Confederation of Freeports apply.
The simple answer is, all of them. With the advent of the depart of the Phoenix and Freeport 11 falling back into the (custody?) of the Confederation all No Fire Zones have been reinstated with all laws in place. Enforcement will begin after the conclusion of this announcement rather than retroactively to the announcement of the station administration being taken over by the Confederation as it was not made clear in the original announcement that such a change was being made.
It also behooves me to re-announce the change of laws surrounding Omega-49 and how these laws interact with the standard No-Fire-Zone. All standard laws for Freeports and other celestial bodies apply to stations and inhabited planets in Omega-49 (Note that only one planet is classified as inhabited at this time, that being Planet Gran Canaria) with the noted exception to the No Fire Zone surrounding celestial bodies being that Gunship and smaller class vessels are free to engage.
Note that this only applies to bases and celestial bodies within the space of Omega-49.
It is also important to note that combat initiated by Battleship and Carrier class vessels is forbidden throughout the whole system.
Base construction within the spaces claimed by the Confederation of Freeports including Omega-49 and all space within a 15k sphere of each celestial body claimed by the Confederation must follow the rules laid out in the Laws of the Confederation.
I would also like to reaffirm that the Omicron-74 No Fire Zone is in effect for the whole system.
Any person found to be violating the laws and ordinances of the Confederation of Freeports may be liable for a fine or denial of docking rights depending on the severity of the offence, reoccurrence will incur stiffer penalties.
