GMG ships are pure gold. I cried inside when I met the GMG| turtle for the first time, but at least it's only used for RP.
Why does everything have to be the same? Why should every faction have caps or gunboats? Sometimes, having all these toys takes away from the faction rather than add to it. Sometimes limits are positive, as in the case of both Coalition and GMG.
The same was the case with the Hessians. Personally I liked it better when the Hessians had to keep diplomatic ties to Outcasts to effectively combat the Corsair Legate swarm.
That being said, I like the model. It's like a mega-typhoon, and I think it would look awesome with the black textures from the current Coalition line.

I like your idea. If hessian a ally with OC I will make so many gamma raids.

GMG lore-wise have no use for larger ships. They operate in dense nebula fields where 'guerilla tactics' have proven to be more effective than big ships and brute force.
It'd be kind of cool if the game worked the same way, and nebula fields were 'dodgeable' for snubs but lethal to large caps. Right now it's the other way around, if anything.
GMG NEEDS caps/GBs from a gameplay perspective. Ironically, we're boned if a GB or cap target heads into an explosive gas cloud

Never has lore been so poorly presented in game ;-;
I actually made a suggestion where the GMG ID could reccive a bonus where it takes no damage to gas pockets. The suggestion didn't seem popular at the time.
I agree with Haste here, that model doesn't look too good, it fits FL style. Resembles also a submarine, which is really cool and all (SCRA could name their first carrier Red October [: )
Lulz aside, so long Coalition guys don't turn into Zoners 2.0 and start going on how powerful they are "because we have caps", it's all good.

Kinda brought this up in the dev chat. I'd like to see environmental hazards be more interesting/relevant both for snub and cap pilots. Dunno if these ideas are going places, though.

Thank you Pavel, we aren't going to spam Carriers/BS's as that tends to get you killed very fast in a fight. Limited use of such ships however in specific situations is much better. Particularly if you have docking modules. SCRA has always been primarily a Snub-Faction, just because we have a few extra shiny toys doesn't mean we're abandoning what made our faction in the first place. I am all too aware of our limits. XD
And yes NoMe we are closely allied with the Red Hessians.
