Yep... Gr8 rp.
On another note, I think it got boring when you could only go 1 system deep. Would be much cooler if in war you could go further into house space . Even into the capital system itself. You know like before there were rheinland turtles raiding new York.

As was previously mentioned the Rheinland economy is hurt pretty badly, although their military is strong enough to defend but you shouldn't expect to see an offensive where they occupy Libertonian space any time soon (I'm not talking about pvp raids).
As for the Libertonian side, with their allies in Bretonia getting the crap kicked out of them, the Libertonian military is unwilling to commit to anything more than border skirmishes with Rheinland, since they need to save their manpower and resources for their eventual involvement in a fullscale war against Gallia; who they perceive as the much greater threat.
I may have missed a few details in my explanation, but I hope that my post serves well enough to clarify some things.

If you'd read my post you'd see that no in fact Liberty isn't 'rolling rheinland', the war is at a stalemate. However inRP yes Liberty is in a much better situation economically than Rheinland, but that has very little to do with pvp or the war itself at all.
And as for Rheinland turtles raiding New York, that was never fun, not ever.
I mean unless your idea of fun is a horde of Battleships smashing into New York and spouting off really really bad RP (or even no RP at all) before engaging everything they could possibly engage.
But for the benefit of the newer players who are actually looking for REAL answers, I think it'd be pretty cool if we could maybe stay on topic here.
As I recall, the mass turtle spam that used to happen was due to a bunch of players who cared about nothing except winning at PVP, they did not care about roleplaying and they did not care about fairplay.
Coming out of a Jump Gate in a Guardian and getting INSTAKILLED by two Rheinland battleships camping the gate is definitely not my idea of fun.
Neither is fighting 4-5 Rheinland Battleships, 2x Cruisers and a swarm of fighters all at once, either.
You're right that if there was also good RP involved it would be more fun, but there almost never was.
The part about getting insta-ed is indeed an issue that was not fun. I agree in that.
The war thing comes back to pvp, yes , and I am thinking if there would be some mission objective like... I dont know... In times of war a core 1 would be build on both teams system and first one to kill it in capture the flag type scenario would win..
That can start making people not stay and camp and look for blues with insta kills.

I will correct you a little about this. While the activity decreased over time, there was still lot of it. Raids died almost completely from Rheinland side from the moment when was officially confirmed that war is going to an end and Rheinland "lose". Numbers of RNC ships which appears online radically decreased from that moment because lot of players lost interest to fight war which is already decided or even moved to fight against Liberty on Gallia ships.

LN raids Hamburg - "We came to take over this system and push you back where you came from"
RM raids Texas - "We claim this system as ours and there is nothing you can do"
Meanwhile iRP -
Rheinland - "Retreat! This is too much fur us, destroy the Jump Gates!!!"
Liberty - "This is pointless, we gotta take care of a bigger threat and defend our allies"
The point is people moved on, that's why you don't see them fight each other.
so can we just end it and maybe start a new war somewhere else?

Wars in Sigmas between Rheinland vs LWB & GMG?
Kusari cannot effectively intervene due to their own internal strife with Exiles, Dragons, and the need for H-fuel to keep flowing.
